different types of puzzles online in order to create worksheets for your class. The Puzzle Maker
has several features that include dictionaries, clip art, sample puzzles, and save and edit options.

2. Online Worksheets Generators- http://www.worksheets4teachers.com/generators.php :


Includes lists of topics, grade levels, and subject options to aid in creating worksheets and
puzzles for any grade level or subject. This website also includes pre-made worksheets and
puzzles for many different subjects and grade levels.

3. AVG Free Antivirus- http://free.avg.com/ : This is a site where you can download AVG virus
and spy ware protection for free. Protection against hackers, unsafe internet use, and phishing
and email scams also available on this site.

4. Successful Teaching- http://successfulteaching.blogspot.com/2009/06/20-communication-and-


networking-tools.html : This website has provides teachers with communication and networking
tools and ideas that could be helpful in improving their teaching styles and help them to become
successful in their job. It includes a blog with helpful ideas and strategies for successful teaching
experiences that is upgraded often.

5. Teachers Net- http://teachers.net/ : Provides teachers with chatboards for communication,


lesson plans, email discussions, projects, job listings, live chats and more. Options to select
grade level, subject area, and state.

6. Special Education Content Standards- http://www.abcte.org/teach/special-education-


standards : This website provides teachers with content standards for all subjects taught in
Special Education classrooms. It also lists legal issues and ethical practice guidelines along with
acquisitions and methods of instruction.

7. Special Education Teachers Secondary Schools-


http://online.onetcenter.org/link/summary/25-2043.00 : Provides a list of tasks, skills, activities,
contexts, and abilities for Special Education Teachers. Provides appropriate subject and teaching
content for the teaching of Special Education students in secondary schools.

8. Curriculum Special Education- http://www.crews.org/curriculum/sp/ : Provides list of sites


and links to subject areas and curriculum in a Special Education classroom.

9. Connecting with the Special Education Curriculum-


http://www.nichcy.org/EducateChildren/effective/pages/specedcurr.aspx : This site has a list of
services, laws, resources, curriculums, content and more for teaching Special Education and
connecting with the curriculum. It also offers informative links about IEP’s and educating
students properly.
10. Special Education- http://www.awesomelibrary.org/special-ed.html : This site provides
lists of different disorders and subject matter to be taught to Special Education students. It
includes methods of teaching different disabilities and content to be covered in each subject.

This site provides a list of grade levels and subject areas for special education teachers in order
to aid in creating lesson plans.

site aids in creating lessons plans and provides lists of resources for Special Education teachers.

13. NASET- http://www.naset.org/ : Provides Special Education teachers with useful


information about teaching exceptional students, tools for creating IEP’s, procedures for Special
Education classrooms and more. This site includes a search engine and provides an
overwhelming among of information for Special Education teachers. (This is my favorite of all
the websites that I found.)

14. Internet Special Education Resources- http://www.iser.com/ : Provides teachers with a list
of resources and lists of different disabilities and how they should be approached and taught.
This site includes methods of teaching, assessments, and more.

15. Special Education Resources on the Internet- http://www.seriweb.com/ : This site


includes a collections of information resources that can be used for Special Education teachers.
It includes discussion groups along with information and descriptions of different disorders.

quest that was done by a previous special education teacher. It includes options of tasks,,
resources, procedures, evaluations, and conclusions.

This is a web quest on doing something for a disadvantaged or exceptional child and the simple
pleasures that go along with such an act.

18. The Special Education Identification Process-

information on how to be successful as a teacher in general and steps you need to take with
examples for procedures, evaluations, and more.

19. Brave New Schools- http://education.nmsu.edu/webquest/wq/software/index.html : This


site discusses ways in which schools fail and acts in giving an explaining in how technology can
aid and help in this failure.

20. Disability Research-

discusses the responsibilities in mainstream classrooms for meeting the needs of students with
disabilities as well as the concerns and challenges specified within the classrooms in doing so.
