Statistical information of all CSR, Social & Developmental issues
The work done by government on CSR (2% CSR) & Social & Developmental issues
Each CSR and Social & Developmental issue is covered by the statistics of that issue in the India
part of the site and each key issue page further leads to related issue forum where we share the
projects done / supported by key stakeholders across the world.

Government
We will share the Indian government and ministry links.
As a leader in CSR with its 2% CSR rule, we will interview authorities working on CSR.
We also plan to link central government schemes on most of the social & developmental issues
and then start during the year the programmes of the central government on key issues.

150 plus CSR and Social & Developmental issues
We cover more than 150 CSR or Social & Developmental issues. These can be in issue forum or
is part of CSR in Business Process, CSR roots (e.g. governance), stakeholder dialogue ..
Interviews of Indian leaders, experts and community members. (Continuous process)
Projects of multiple stakeholders on the issue. These can be local, statewise, countrywise or
global and sharing the projects is a continuous process. Since most of the good projects are done
by many stakeholders (and members can use them), we will not mention the name of the
stakeholder. It is important that people replicate projects, whether these are done in their country
or are from other countries, territories, SRAs, oceans and continents.

1000 plus interviews on CSR and Social & Developmental Issues
CSR and Social & Developmental experts from the country. These include activists.
We are interested not only in how the stakeholder is addressing the issue now, but say in 2020 or
2050 because many projects are long term and key to the present and future of the community.
The stakeholders can address the challenges at local, district, state, country or even global level.
Publishers / writers of books on CSR and social & developmental issues.

Please note that of the 1000 interviews, we will focus 350 plus interviews from Indias biggest
district Thane which is urban as well as rural. More details can be seen later.

CSR of 300 Indian corporate and philanthropic initiatives of 1 000 Indian corporate
CSR is Corporate Sustainability & Reputation. We not only cover how a corporate shares its
resources on philanthropic issues but also share key aspects of doing a business like diversity,
governance, anticorruption, ethics, human rights, attitude on greenhouse gases, carbon footprint,
climate change, water, sustainable development etc.. In short, we cover the entire CSR Tree.

CSR of 300 Indian corporates is ready and we will constantly improve it.
The CSR covers Indian Fortune 500 corporates, Indian Forbes 2000 corporates, MNCs (HQ out
of India) and some of the ET 500 corporates.
Philanthropic initiatives : 800 (Ready) and 1000 (August 15, 2014).
With 2% CSR rule, we plan to cover philanthropic initiatives of more than 1000 corporates.

It is easy for India members to search a corporate. In search engine, just put India as a country
and say the industry and philanthropic issue to get a list of corporates supporting the issue.
From August 15, 2014 onwards we will start sharing the location (e.g. Bengaluru, Shimga etc.)
and one can search also by location. You can also search the corporate by just putting its name.

We are also sharing the NGOs supported by these corporate and funding agencies but since
there are more than 2000 NGOs financially supported by these corporates and other donors, we
will share the NGOs in the profile of corporate, funding agency...

NGOs
NGOs work for the development of communities at local, district, nation, region or global level.

Our plan for April 2014 to March 2015 is :
Profiles of 2 000 recommended NGOs of which 1000 will be ready by July 2014 and 1000 more
will be ready by December 2014. These NGOs will come from more than 300 of the 671 districts.
Addresses of 25 000 NGOs districtwise. (20 000 ready)

Credit Rating of NGOs
The 1000 mark system is based on :
Organizational Systems : Legal framework, mission, structure and operational systems
Governance : General body, board, CEO/director, project heads/core staff and volunteers
Programmes : Need, planning & development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation
Financial Aspects : Income, expenditure, surplus/deficit, investment & assets, financial systems
To ensure that no other person / NGO knows or edits data of actual NGO credit rating, the name
and data of NGO appears at no place. The data is not even saved on our server. Credit rating
helps NGO managements identify challenges. If done with the NGO team, it also helps donors
understand not just the financial support but non financial support needed by the NGO.

Funding Agencies
The funding agencies are clear that while they have global issues in mind, the challenges differ
country wise / location wise because they depend on the status of communities.
From April 2014 to March 2015, we share the profiles of at least 100 funding agencies from India.
We also plan to share work of UN offices & The World Bank (August 2014 to March 2015)

thought leaders from India by December 2014.

Global corporate associations
We have special zones for Global compact, GRI and OECD and will start their activities in India.

Prizes, awards and seminars / conferences
There are awards and prizes either at India level or at global level. These prizes / awards not only
help people share their work with others but also get more funds for the communities they serve.
The seminars / conferences help in learning & in networking. (We start from July 2014)

Philanthropists, Celebrities, CSR / Development Consultants, Advertising / PR Agecncies,
Business / NGO Associations, Lawyers, Researchers, Rotary / Lions / Cultural / Sports /
Community clubs, Social Work / Management Institutes, Scientists and speakers
Remember we will cover only those who support CSR, Social & Developmental issue.
We plan to share brief profiles about the organizations and the work they do from July 2014.
While some profiles may have the contact number, it may not be possible for all stakeholders like
celebrities as per their policy.

We know that the work these stakeholders do is not only important for them or the organizations
growth, it also addresses some of the key challenges on a large scale if replicated by others. On
campaigns, we recommend to credible organizations to take permissions from respected
agencies before replicating. We have special coverage of GRI, Global compact and OECD.

Pledges and Helplines
We help organizations who have helplines because they really help people who need it.
We also support known organizations who work on key social & developmental pledges.
Members can search profiles with contact details of such organizations. (July 2014 onwards)

Innovation
This is key for all organizations because innovation not only help communities which need
support but saves vital elements like time and money. We have started the work issue wise.

Volunteering at individual level or at institutional level.
We recommend that people invest time in volunteering issue wise, competency wise or skill wise.
The volunteering can be for a district, many districts or at India level or maybe at global level.
Members know contacts of 2 000 recommended NGOs from India and can volunteer with them or
others directly.

We help organizations / institutions who have more volunteers or have a volunteer day. We also
help organizations where there are volunteers with time or skills on a regular basis.

Donation
We recommend that people donate to good NGOs. Suppose one really invests 2% income (this
includes everyone and not corporates) in charities, it can really can change the country. In case
of national disasters / emergencies do share with NGOs in that region or country governments.

replicated by others across the country, world or universe.

India Membership : Remember
All the information on India is free to members. Remember information leads to knowledge.
Please remember that NGOs dont have to pay to become a recommended NGO because it
depends on the current donors and NGO managements. Recommended NGOs though have to
pay for access to the site or advertising on the site. Similarly other stakeholders dont have to pay
to share their programmes which can be seen by members. It is our editorial responsibility.

Members can become more sustainable, have global reputation and access to fund raising.

India Membership : Is it costly ?
Calculate the time cost for the following and compare with membership fee :
Which are the key development issues and what is their status globally ?
Which are the recommended NGOs for work, donation or volunteering time / competency ?
Which NGOs are / were financially supported by large corporates?
Which financial institutions are donating to your issue or where are they donating ?
Which other institutions are donating to your issue of interest ?
Which good people work for your issue and other issues?
Who gives national / global awards or national / global prizes ?
Who does advertising campaigns for your issue / other issues in your country / globally ?
What is the profile of key social work / management institutes in India ?
How to get visibility in the country / globally ?
What are the challenges in your district ?

What is CSR Tree?
Where I can volunteer ?
Where I can donate?

Remember we value cost of your time.
And also remember the time you spend on internet i.e. other search engines to get same
information. The internet time will not only be much more, it may not give the CSR of a corporate
in one go or it maynot give recommended NGO .
If your time cost is far lesser than our membership fee, become a member.

Please note
Most individual or institutional donors are not comfortable sharing their mobiles or personal
emails because it leads to privacy issues. To ensure that you can still contact the donor
organization, we share the common contact details.
