VENUE:
IETE CONFERENCE HALL (MINI),
OU Campus, Hyderabad

Jointly Organised by
SEMCE(I) Hyd,IEEE-EMC-S
IEEE EMC_S, SEMCE(I) Hyd.

The main objective of the IEEE, Hyd and The
Society of EMC Engineers (India) is to create
awareness about EMC among Scientists
,Technocrats and practicing Engineers. The IEEE
and SEMCE(I), many times conducted International
Conferences (INCEMIC and Workshops) in which
the response of delegates was very good.
Tremendous growth in Electronics and
Communications has made it mandatory to make
electronic systems compatible and immune to EMI.
IEEE-EMC-S and SEMCE(I), Hyderabad Chapter are
jointly organising a two day Workshop on Intra
system EMI/EMC a middle level Design concepts
covering the trends in controlling the EMI.

Theme : EMI Measurements, Design
concepts and Hardening Techniques

Electromagnetic Compatibility has become more
essential in view of the spread over awareness on
EMI/EMC requirements to ensure quality and
reliability. All Electronic and Electrical products
have to Comply with the EMC Standards to achieve
the compliance, it is essential that the designers
adopt build in Hardening techniques in their
product. Thought on Electromagnetic Compatibility
and incorporation of EMC measures at every stage
of product development, right from PCB design will
really help in bringing out the product on the EMC
rail in-time and as well as within their R&D Budget.
The Workshop will focus on the latest trends used
in controlling the EMI in electronic systems/sub-
systems. etc.
Topics for the Workshop

This Two-day Workshop is structured into six
sessions covering the following major areas:
EMC Measurements, EMC Design concepts, ESD,
EMC Standards IEC, CE, Civilian and Mil, RF
Hazards, Materials Conductive Paints, Gaskets,
Air vents, Hony combs, Case Studies, EMI
problems, EMC design of High speed Digital circuits
and Signal integrity, DSP and its applications,
DC/DC converters, Filtering, Grounding, Shielding,
Bonding, EMC Computed aided Design, EMC
design of Microwave circuits.
EMC-2014 provides a forum to the scientific and
engineering communities to address their EMI
related problems in system design and at
deployment. Each session starts with a lecture on
the above topics, followed by a presentation on
EMI problems faced by the industry and finally
critical analysis would be made and possible
solutions will be discussed by a panel of EMC
experts during interactive session .
