attacks.
Itstilllooks/feelslikeoutsourcingandthingsarealreadygettingouttacontrol.

IaaS(InfrastructureasaService).YounameitwehaveanaaSforyou.

rapidlybeingtransformedtosomethingtheITorganizationmanagesandcontrolsforsystemand
mobileappsthatareserviced/supported/managed/controlledbythecloudserviceprovider.
Thechallengeforcompaniestodayistomaintaincontrolofthewiderangingopportunitiesandsiloed

DifferentAppealsWhileenterprisemanagersareattractedtothepromiseofcostsavings,a
moreagileandefficientorganizationITmanagementstruggleswithcontrolling/managingcosts
andmoreimportantly,vitalcorporateinformation,whichismorevulnerabletointernal/external
attackandlossintheCloud.

companieswontoutgrowandwillonlygetbetterandbetterwitheachnewapptheyaddtotheir
arsenal.

certainlyreimageditselftoplayheavilyinthecloudandallitsactivities.

organizationsaccumulatemoreandmoredatathatcanbeusefultotheorganization.
CommitmenttothecloudallowsITmanagementtoquicklyaddorreduceinfrastructureand
storage.However,itisbecomingincreasinglycomplexasdata/contentisaccumulated,moved
andusedthroughouttheorganization.
Amazonmayhavethetrackrecordfordaytodaycustomerexperienceandsupport,butSalesforce
hasabroaderviewofCRM(customerrelationsmanagement).
Companiesaregoingtoneedbothviewstosurvivethefuture.
ThatsprobablywhySalesforcerepositioneditselffrombeingapackagedsolutiontoaworking
platformprovider.
