These are cards of my own creation, inspired on the board game Taboo.

I use them in class for practicing vocabulary. Ive included a link for the
instructions. There are 3 sets of these cards: asy, !edium and "i#cult.
Ive also made a blank of each so you, the teacher, can create your own,
with your own vocabulary. Theres also a page with the backsides, but its
big in si$e, so Ill have to post it as a di%erent printable.
Instructions:
&ou can play this game with ' students or more, as a competition or simple
practice. There should be at least ( player with the card and one player
guessing in each turn. The ob)ective is to get the other player to say the
word on the top of the card. The player with the card cannot use the words
on the list to get the other student to guess the correct answer. *o, for
e+ample, if the word is *oup and you cant say Liquid, Food, Eat, Drink or
Noodles. &ou could say: ,*omething you have for lunch or dinner. Its not
solid. Its often sold in cans. -ampbells is known for this. &ou can make it
out of chicken broth. tc.
