Resume April 2014 I began a 3-year PhD project under the supervision of Professor Antti-Pekka
Jauho and Postdoc. Stephen Power titled Magnetic Properties of Nanostructured
Graphene Systems. This project aims to develop a theoretical understanding of large-
scale magnetic phenomena by using state of the art simulation techniques. This is a
necessary tool for bridging the gap between theoretical predictions and experimental
ndings.
I recently became Master of Science with a major in Physics and Nanotechnology at
the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). During my Bachelor and Master I have
worked with prototype simulation and fabrication of photonic and plasmonic devices, in
particular a plasmonic waveguide, a refractive index retreival method, and fabrication
and simulation of graphene among other smaller projects. During my thesis at DTU
Nanotech I started working theoretically with graphene and electronic transport, Elec-
tronic properties of stacked graphene, which used custom made simulation programs
to determine various electronic aspect of graphene.
Until the end of my Master I held a position at Ibsen Photonics, a leading company in
the production of diraction gratings. As a production technician I have for little over
a year been working with diraction grating production at their cleanroom facility in
Farum. Additional experience includes 5 years of living in Australia, Danish military
duty, and an exchange semester in Hong Kong as part of my Master program.
Specialties Computer simulation, micro- and nano-fabrication, photonics, plasmonics, electronics,
metamaterials, and various language scripting

Cand.Scien. in Physics and Nanotechnology, Technical University of Denmark, Lyn-
gby, Denmark
March 2014
Concentrations in simulation and fabrication of nano-electronics, graphene, and quan-
tum electronics.
Avg. grade 11.2 overall (Danish 7-step scale, transcript attached)
Bach.Scien. in Physics and Nanotechnology, Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby,
Denmark
July 2010
Concentrations in simulation and fabrication of optics, photonics, and plamsonics.
Avg. grade 8.2 overall (Danish 7-step scale)
Projects Electronic Properties of Stacked Graphene, Master Thesis
Team: Sren Gregersen, Prof. Anit-Pekka Jauho, Post Doc. Jesper Goor Pedersen
Looking at stacked graphene using custom similation programs, in particular the open-
ing and closing of bandgaps and electron localisation in graphene on antidot lattices.
Grade 12 (Danish 7-step scale)
Plasmonic Slit Waveguide, Bachelor Thesis
Team: Sren Gregersen, Prof. Andrei Lavrinenko, PhD Stud. Maksin Zalkovskij, Asst
Prof. Radu Malureanu
In an attempt to enhance the waveguideing of a thin gold stripe SPP waveguide, a
10-500 nm slit was created along in stripe. Prototypes showed both in experiments
and simulations that a signicant increase in the eld inside the slit lead to longer
propagation lengths.
Grade 12 (Danish 7-step scale)
Experience Production Technician, Ibsen Photonics, Farum August 2012 (1 year)
Produce diractions gratings as well as quality assessments.
Leadership
Activities
Founder and Owner, ITmontren, Kbh N, Denmark 2009 (6 months)
