Update: This classic essay, read by its author, was flagged as Hate Speech on YouTube within hours of it

being uploaded. A revised version of that video noting the censorship effort has been uploaded, and those
who wish to fight the censors who marked this as hate speech are encouraged to mirror it. Here it is:
Dean Esmay
There was a time in the history of my country, when an entire demographic group was regularly pushed
aside and disregarded legally and socially. That group had some but not all of the rights that were
granted to the rest of society and the rights they did have were ignored and denied with shocking
regularity. Each member of the lower class was socially valued by how well they were liked and how useful
the were to their superiors, the privileged class.
Members of the lower class were best advised to mind their manners around their betters. It was best not
to say things their superiors wouldnt like and in some cases it was advisable to avoid looking directly at
them.
The lower class of people were expected to accept their treatment and some of them seemed to. It seems
odd that anyone would accept their systemic mistreatment and abuse, but who could blame them, it was
the safest thing to do. Those who fell in line and did their part to keep the superiors happy suffered less
abuse than those who did not. It was easier to keep your head down and if asked a question or spoken to,
it was safest to smile and say whatever the superior wanted to hear.

As is the case with any oppressed people the lower class became angry. Some of the lower class people
became disobedient. They had the very laughable goal of equality. Those of the lower class who
complained were troublemakers. Any member of the privileged class who supported those troublemakers
were traitors.
There were words the upper class used to keep those lower beings in line, and check those whod forgotten
their place. One of these words seemed more effective than the others.
Nigger.
That was what they were, after all.
Niggers werent the same as human beings. They were legally and socially less than the privileged class.
Niggers could be harmed and the police probably wouldnt help them. Niggers were subject to vigilante
justice.
I dont know if it happened on a conscious level but I do not doubt that when a nigger was reminded that
he was in fact a nigger, he realized he had stepped out of bounds and if a privileged citizen decided to
punish him, there would be no help for him. That little reminder must have done wonders to shut an uppity
nigger up.
The word was used so often that, it seems, it lost its effectiveness. Niggers learned to ignore the word, it
didnt hurt as much and sometimes it simply made them angry. The magic was gone and it was just
another word, like stupid, or ugly.
In that time of social unrest there was a member of that lower class named Melvin B. Tolson. If you dont
know who that is, look up the Forensic Society Debaters of Wiley College and you will learn that he was a
troublemaker who dared to think that lower class people should be allowed to hold civil debate with the
privileged class.
It was a rather unpopular idea which met great opposition. However when he did succeed in arranging for
the oppressed to debate their superiors, the lower class people won. Looking back that is not surprising, the
lower class were morally correct. What I find most interesting about their victory is the amount of struggle
it took for the matter to reach debate.
The privileged class seemed to believe that the lower class were just dumb niggers, but I believe that was
an excuse. I think that the privileged people knew that the societal norms were wrong and that everyone
would realize it if the lower class people were ever allowed to show their intelligence. If the lower class
7/28/2014 The New N-word
http://www.avoiceformen.com/misandry/the-new-nigger-2/ 4/24
showed the public that they were not dumb and dangerous, the injustices against them would be
unnecessary and cruel.
It would be revealed that the privileged upper class were the ignorant, dangerous fools.
The opposition to a simple debate came from a fear of exposure.
You may believe that such societal norms and treatment are a thing of the past. That sort of thing could
never go unchallenged today. People are more enlightened now Right?
But I see it.
I see an entire class of people who can be harmed by a member of a privileged class and there is no help
for them. They can be legally abused and everyone looks the other way. There are those members of the
lower class who try to make themselves as useful to their superiors as possible or keep their heads down
unless spoken to and then hed better say what ever pleases his superior, that is the safest way to behave.
I hear the privileged use a few words to try and keep the troublemakers in line. One seems to be a particular
favorite.
Misogynist.
Misogynists arent the same as other human beings. You dont have to listen to anything a misogynist
says. They arent allowed the same rights as everyone else. Debate with the superiors? Pfft, what for? They
are just a bunch of angry misogynists after all.
Dont talk to me because you hate womenNigger.
Their misogynistic posters got torn down? Serves the niggers right!
Debate? No, they are dangerous nig- oops, I mean, misogynists.
Of course this refusal and opposition to the very idea of debate has NOTHING at all to do with the
knowledge that the people they call misogynists really do have something to complain about. This
opposition isnt fear this time right? Its legitimate concern that the people you so flagrantly antagonize,
openly taunt and yet who have done nothing at all to harm you, will suddenly go ape-shit and assault a
helpless innocent member of the privileged class.
7/28/2014 The New N-word
http://www.avoiceformen.com/misandry/the-new-nigger-2/ 5/24
Its okay to wave weapons at them, because theyre misogynists.
Its okay to silence them. They are just misogynists.
Its totally cool to disregard them cause you know theyre misogynists, and everyone knows it.
You dont have to treat the misogynists like human beings, so it isnt bigotry. Everyone knows misogynists
dont get rights.
I can only hope that using this word to silence and shame someone you disagree with someday reaches
the same public regard as coming right out and calling your opponent nigger.

Maybe we should be talking about the new Irish:
"There is little question that the Irish experienced the horrors of slavery as much (if not more in the 17th
Century) as the Africans did. There is, also, very little question that those brown, tanned faces you witness
in your travels to the West Indies are very likely a combination of African and Irish ancestry. In 1839, Britain
finally decided on its own to end its participation in Satans highway to hell and stopped transporting
slaves. While their decision did not stop pirates from doing what they desired, the new law slowly
concluded THIS chapter of nightmarish Irish misery.
But, if anyone, black or white, believes that slavery was only an African experience, then theyve got it
completely wrong.'

The point being there always seems to be people that are disposable no matter what comparisons may or
may not be made.

irish chinese italian jews blacks, and frankly any new demographic of immigrant that has come to
this country has been met with prejudice on some level or another...but as a matter of principle,
never compare the suffering of one group of people to another or try to say that one persons
oppression is greater than another's. to do so marginalizes that group and creates inequity within
the broader conversation of how to correct and level injustice and intolerance in our culture.

I'm a jew, and I'm asking you to stop using my people as a prop in your crusade to shame
others into silence.
What "social justice warriors" like you are doing is a direct equivalent to the de-humanization
efforts other despots use to turn their political opposition into "inhuman others" to be
disregarded and trampled.
If you want to debate on the merits of the analogy, the parallels vs the divergence, by all
means do so, but do NOT use me or my people as a prop in your efforts to end debate
through thought-stopping "that's not politically correct" shaming tactics.

My great-grand parents were from Poland and from what I understand ethnic
Catholic Poles suffered greatly along with the Jewish Poles during WWII. My dad
was a great fan of Polish jokes and never have I heard a single SJW condemn these
jokes nor would I like to. Competing at playing the biggest victim and silencing
criticism of this "status" is pretty pathetic imo. Still, there's also a fear of being
labeled an Anti-Semite that tends to curtail a more open conversation. Resentment
of this need to be PC seems to possibly add to real Antisemitism. It furthers the
divide with us gentiles me thinks. I feel it in my own relationships with Jewish friends
I've grown up with and known for decades. It's a little disheartening that this invisible
wall that cannot be addressed is even there. I mirrored this video on my youtube
account and was actually threatened with flagging after some pro Israel website
mirrored it off me and one of their subscribers got offended. It's still up and youtube,
to their credit hasn't taken any action, this time.

I do notice that polocks seem to love the polish jokes.
Obviously, there were not as many irish slaves, there were many more African
slaves. But I do think it is an interesting fact, that the English took irish as full on
chattel slaves in some carribian sugar plantations. Not indentured survants, as if that
was much better, but full on chattel, lol. But we have to see that for what it is, rich,
very high class, privileged English exercising their economic superiority, most british
people never owned much of anything, let alone slaves.
But I agree, everyone needs to stop trying to get the gold at oppression Olympics,
it's fucking stupid.

I agree with your general sentiment, and have to say it's also a bone of contention in
my family that I'm not firmly behind the zionist cause as a jew.
This is why I'm taking such umbrage at unrelated people using jews as a club by
which to bludgeon their opposition with the P.C. stick by "riding in to the rescue" and
acting as if they speak for me or my family.

White privilege didn't exist in the 19th century European wold view... because
EVERYONE was white. There were simply different nationalities of white, there was
no such thing as colored people, unless you went on a fantastic voyage to exotic
lands. Irish were slaves then, but that does not mean that we don't have white
privelage in 21st century America... Because we do...
I think the whole white privilege thing is a bit overblown, but I'm not denying that we
have it.

isn't it so completely ironic that the New Privileged Class (Which Identity Politics and Critical Race Theory
claim are ANYTHING BUT) are using the same tactics that the KKK-types were using a century ago?
It's ironic, but it is also completely on purpose. Marxist Claptrap works that way. It doesn't seek to solve
problems, it seeks to reverse the situations of the once-privileged class so that they get to "feel what
oppression is like". It's all a wicked and very unhealthy revengey thing.

This article is so explicitly insane it's hard for me to find the words to respond to absolutely obscene
premise of this rhetorical argument. I can not even begin to comprehend how any rational and reasonable
person can equate a word that has been used to systematically degrade and express outright hatred an
bigotry to a term which is missappropriated to address men with in rhetorical and semantic arena.
First off you start your mimetic, and frankly base "noun therapy" as someone put it, by not only
mischatacterizing the term, but completely ignoring the historical cultural and racial origins of the term. The
N-word is not something that was reserved for the "lower class," it was a term that was reserved
specifically to address, with great prejudice and malice, a very particular group of people - black slaves and
Americans. This is not a debatable term, it is unmistakable in not only it's origins but it's use. The same
goes for terms like mick, jap, chinc, wetback, redneck, and any number of other hate-filled addressors.
Being called a misogynist in no way shape or form has the same level of historical hate, violence and pain

If you want to elevate the conversation beyond rhetorical name calling, and take away the ammunition of
those that would like to label you unfairly as a mysoginist, then you should maybe abandon this obscene
self victimization and stop trying to equate being a man in modern society with a race of people that were
historically dominated and subjugated through the use of extreme brutality and oppression. In other words
stop acting like mysoginist and start acting like a man.

just because someone is black doesn't excuse the misappropriation of a term as sensitive
as the "n-word" especially when using it in the semantic comparison between such
extremely disparate terms to make obnoxious rhetorical argument. This is quite possibly the
most obscene conflation of two ideas that couldn't be less alike and this type of nonsense
should be seen as not only offense but absolutely contemptible by any reasonable and
rational man, especially those seeking to create equality in not only discourse but in society

Dude, you seriously need to work on making your meaning clearer in fewer words,
because we could've saved ourselves a lot of trouble if I knew that this was all about
"appropriateness", which I don't give a shit about.
There is a racial hierarchy, and there is also a sex hierarchy. Black men suffer twice,
once for being black, and once for being men. In reality, the new "nigger" is the old
"nigger", same as it always was. I don't deny that.
But sometimes, to get attention, you have to say controversial things that people
don't like, and I don't like you. I don't like how you dodge from one objection to
another. I don't like your latest twist, that now you think the difference between
"nigger" and "misogynist" is that one can't be justified.
Did you think that was a winning play? Did you expect me to justify calling someone
a "nigger"? You have it backwards, hoss. "Nigger" is *less* effective as a debate-
ending label, because it's always wrong to say. It is *less* useful than "misogynist"
as a tool of suppressing discussion.
Your last argument was so ineffective, I'm just going to assume this is over. Here's

i don't dispute the argument, and the premise is valid, however in any debate you
have to evaluate the appropriateness of a novel comparison within whatever topic of
discourse you are engaged within,
A good example of this type of inappropriate rhetorical framing is the frequent use of
the "this to that" comparison of something to the holocaust, most recent example i
can think of is the comparison by thomas perkins, a multimillion dollar venture
capitalist, who likened the fictitious "war on the 1 percent" to nazi-germany anti-
semitism, its a novel (and the only reason i use this word is because i have never
heard anyone draw this parellel in my life) comparison that despite what ever
argument he uses to justify it will always be inappropriate.
the same thing stands to reason for the conflation of N****r and misogynist

Among Anglophones, the word nigger was not always considered derogatory,
because it then denoted "black-skinned", a common Anglophone usage.[4]
Nineteenth-century English (language) literature features usages of nigger without
racist connotation, e.g. the Joseph Conrad novella The Nigger of the 'Narcissus'
(1897). Moreover, Charles Dickens and Mark Twain created characters who used
the word as contemporary usage. Twain, in the autobiographic book Life on the
Mississippi (1883), used the term within quotes, indicating reported usage, but

and there is plenty of reasons to find the use of such a term as contemptible and
wrong, especially when they are used in the black community. But what you fail to
understand is that how the black community chooses to address that term and the
subsequent is only the business of the black community, and because someone in
the black community uses that word does in any way shape or form empower you,
especially as a white male, to use or appropriate that term for semantic and

a ploy to shut someone up who's explaining his or her painful life situation by encasing them in this
imagined sitz em leben of privilege that may not fairly represent their lives at all.
Who has the privilege, the white man with the job in a coal mine, or the woman with no job, but 4

Don't take too long in figuring that one out.

yes being unfairly labeled as misogynist or cis-het or cis-gendered or "cis-whatever" is
unfair, but it pales in comparison to the type of hate speech and physical violence that
people of color have experienced for a long. LONG time.
But misogynist is a word, a rhetorical device used by people who want insulate their
conversation through exclusion of differing opinions...it is not a term that has ever been used
with such brutality and physical and psychological violence and will likely never have that
level of hate attached to it that the n-word does...it doesn't take long to figure that out.

Either way, men are screwed.
What I find more difficult is that at least blacks knew what was happening and knew

are totally oblivious to what's happening. As with the white slave owner who took

It's either a spoof (and so well done it out Poes Poe's Law), else an over eager 1st year gender
studies undergrad with way too much caffeine.

How come when you were taught that Marxist Rotgut you didn't IMMEDIATELY think, "Who wrote
this s***, what were they smoking, and can I have some? This makes NO SENSE AT ALL." ?

A lot of discussion about the use of a word but little discussion as to the content of the article. Back in
slavery days, children were taken away from their parents because they were seen as property. Slave
owners had the right to do such things. We live in a society where it's not much different in that children are
taken away from their dads all the time and what's worse is that we have a judicial system that
orchestrates it. Don't have to look to far past prison gates to see where these inferior beings, (men) are
taken. The slaves had abolitionists, racism had the civil rights movement, women had suffrage/feminist
movement and now VAWA. In the previously mentioned, there was a societal recognition that that there
was a problem and movement(s) to change things. Yet with men, there is a total societal refusal to even
recognize there is a problem for men. It's interesting that I happen to read this article after reading about
male suicide.

Many of the gender-feminist groups on college campuses around the US are in fact the whitest groups on
campus, but they will parade a black girl in front of the cameras for a photo op.

Duke - as a Euro Human Rights Nut looking at the US, the one thing that has amazed me is The
Racism - the Level of Racism - The Pervasiveness Of Racism - in US Feminism.
The racism has been there from the start, as illustrated by Loretta Ross and "The Origin of the
phrase "Women of Color"" ...it's been there since the third wave got surfing, and even got funded by
president Jimmy Carter. NOW have been racist from Day One, and so Privileged they couldn't
even see heir own racism, even when it was pointed out in 1977 they have continued to be racist
and not speak out against racism for nearly 40 years.
W.A.S.P. - "White, Angry, Superior and Proud Of It" really does not go far enough in illuminating the
darkness at the heart of so many US Feministas. They are so "Racopathic" in their thinking and
language adding and "ist" just does not clarify their aberrations.
I was so happy when Mikki Kendall took down so many Blogging Cyber White Feminist with her
#SolidarityIsForWhiteWomen campaign. The likes of Valenti, Filipovic, Marcotte and others have
been quieter and far more careful since their petards were used to hoist um up high, leaving their
knickers flapping in the wind.

The most racially diverse groups on campus are the sports teams...Maybe that why the white
gender-feminist community don't like sports teams???

Reply
Jacket 6 months ago Duke
No, they LOVE the male sports teams. See Arian Foster's new baby mama that'll soon be
seeing $15k+/month (ok, I'm just guessing, but let's be real) in "child" support payments.
Never mind that it doesn't take that kind of money to raise a single child in ANY country.

numbCruncher 6 months ago Jacket
A very good point. According to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C...
"$4,020 is the basic cost of raising each child per year as estimated by the
Department of Health and Human Services for 2013"
In our enlightened age, as both parents are undoubtedly making equal financial
contributions, this should mean the average man's child support payments in the
USA is $2,010 per year. However, according to
http://singleparents.about.com...

"The average amount of child support due was $5,960 per year"
That's an interesting little discrepancy of $3950 left to spend on jewellery, feminist
literature, NOW donations etc. Over 18 years, not accounting for inflation, each man
paying child support is subsidising feminism to the tune of $71,100.

Can anyone tell me where (if there is such a thing) I could find the formulas that are
used to determine child support? Or is it simply "take him for what ever he has?"

Every state has its own laws. Google it for your state. "Child support formula
Washington", for example.
