The adjustment to
middle school life is
easier for some kids
than others! I created
this locker list for some
of my students who
struggled to follow
their schedule with
stopping at their
lockers in between
classes. They would
carry all of their items
for the entire day (an
overwhelming task),
instead of making
mindful pit stops
between class periods
at their lockers. The
purpose of this locker
list is to help a student
have a plan for when
they will stop at their
locker and which items
they will pick up and
drop off.
Possible Uses:
Students with IEP goals
relating to organization
Homeroom activity
(start of the year, or
New Years resolution)
Guidance Counselor
support tool

Keep it organized!
Arrival:
Unload your backpack and put all binders, folders and books
into your locker in the order that you will need them
today.
Grab the materials for your first few classes. Remember to
take your completed homework and your agenda planner!
Midday:
Return books and binders from your first classes neatly to
your locker.
Put all the items that you will need to take home tonight
for homework, into one spot for easy access at the end of
the day.
Prepare for your next few classes and dont forget your
completed homework and planner!
Departure:
Open your agenda planner and pack your backpack based on
your homework assignments tonight.
Be sure to bring home all required books and materials you
will need to do your assignments. Dont forget to put
your planner in your bag too!
