Figure 2.5 Graphical representation of Ammonium Sulphate supply

*From Foreign Trade Statistics of the Philippines. (2002-2012)
The graph shows the supply of ammonium sulphate in the Philippines
that reached the highest supply in the year 2011. And there are years that the supply of
was decline. The supply decreases in year 2008 and 2012 but in the supply shows that
there is possibility that the supply continue increased in the year after the graph.

Figure 2.7. Graphical Representation of projected supply of Ammonium Sulphate using

the four methods
Comparison of the Four Methods
Arithmetic Straight Line vs. Statistical Parabolic Curve
The two methods of projection arithmetic straight line and statistical parabolic
curve methods give graph that are both increasing. And the only different is the
representation of equation also the result of calculated standard deviation of the SPCM
gives the lesser value than to the ASLM.
Arithmetic Geometric Curve vs. Statistical Parabolic Curve
The projection of arithmetic geometric curve and statistical parabolic curve
method shows the graph are both increasing. But the arithmetic geometric curve method
in first seven years it has gradual increasing but suddenly it increased rapidly and this is
not realistic while statistical parabolic curve would still have the least deviation.
Statistical Straight Line vs. Statistical Parabolic Curve
The method of projection Statistical Straight Line and Statistical Parabolic
Curve method gives both constantly increasing in the graph but the value of standard
deviation of SSLM has huge amount so it is not realistic since the values show
favourable result of projection for the Statistical Parabolic Curve since the method has
the lowest deviation obtained.

Figure 2.10. Graphical Representation of Difference of Projected Demand and Supply

for Ammonium Sulphate
The graph shows the amount of unsatisfied demand for ammonium sulfate. It is
increasing rapidly, while the supply are little bit increased since the demand is higher
than the supply it means the project of building an ammonium sulfate manufacturing
plant has big opportunity to satisfied the demand of the other industry. And it has huge
benefit of the company.
