I. Modules List: The ERP for SANGAM can be sub-divided into 18 modules. Each of the department is linked by its module to the ERP and there are some by-modules like MIS, Budget and Costing which shall enable the management in its decision making. 1) Access 2) Authorization and Approval 3) Marketing and Sales 4) Finance and Accounts 5) Production 6) Quality 7) Procurement and Input 8) Milk Bill 9) Cattle Feed 10) Vehicle Tracking System 11) Purchase and Stores

12) Engineering & Maintenance 13) HR, Personnel & Pay Roll 14) Budget 15) Costing 16) Internal Mail Server 17) Management Information Systems (MIS) 18) Society
II. Technology Combination: 1) Model View Controller 4 (MVC-4) Framework MVC Framework is definitely a latest ASP.Net development framework known for its good client side performance. But MVC will significantly increase the cost of overall product development in comparison to plain vanilla ASP.Net. 2) Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Services WCF Services is a good framework for building service-oriented applications. Using WCF one can send data from one service end point to another. 3) SQL Server Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system developed by Micro Soft. This should pretty much gel well with ASP.Net as both are Micro Soft technologies.

Phase1 - Access, Authorization & Approval, Marketing & Sales and Finance & Accounts relevant to Marketing & Sales. Phase2 - Production, Quality, Procurement & Input and Milk Bill.
Phase3 - Vehicle Tracking System, Cattle Feed, Engineering & Maintenance, Purchase & Stores. Phase4 - HR, Personnel and Pay Roll, Budget, Costing, Internal mail server, MIS and Society and Rest of Finance module including Year End Finalization of accounts. VIII. Project Flow: Total work in the project can be split into following sub- modules. a) Functional work We interacted with all the departments. We travelled to SANGAM as a group for the same. Our functional lead has been visiting Dairy regularly and collecting reporting requirements and finalizing the functionality. Functionality with all flow charts and explanation in detail being done. Complete screens, some of them in micro-soft Visio form and rest of them in tabular form are designed deriving from the functionality. Database tables, both masters and transactions along with the fields and their respective data types in each of the tables are being designed. So the above detail is being done for all the 18 modules. b) Database work
Tables formation for all the 18 modules and using them design being done. Got to design the complete data base completely new keeping in view the structure of the current data base. Estimate Summary

After the formation of the current data base, migration of the existing database needs to be done. This migration of the existing data base happens over multiple iterations and the number of iterations in migration depends upon the structural aptness of the current data base. If I have to quote the number of iterations today it must be 7-8 iterations, the minimum, thus demanding greater expertise and hence higher cost. Development Flow: Total .Net development flow can be foreseen as follows. a) Frame work Design and Coding - Frame work Design and Coding consists of the following sub-modules. User Interface Design and Development Business Layer Design and Development Data Layer Design and Development Security feature Design and Development
b) Module group in the ERP can be preferably developed and deployed in the following phases. Access, Authorization & Approval, Marketing & Sales and Finance & Accounts These 4 modules can be very well developed and deployed in the first phase of the project development. This is also pretty much in-line with the organizational vision.
In the next phase, to maintain module coherency it is better we design and build the modules which form the back end of Marketing and Sales module. So, Production, Quality, Procurement & Input and Milk Bill form the next set of modules.

In the Third Phase Vehicle Tracking System along with modules for other departments, Cattle Feed, Engineering & Maintenance, Purchase & Stores need to be designed, developed and deployed.
As departments using vehicles like Marketing & Sales, Procurement & Input and department maintaining them that is Engineering & Maintenance are getting under the ERP umbrella, Vehicle Tracking System in this phase can be implemented in a seamless manner. HR, Personnel and Pay Roll, Budget, Costing, Internal mail server, MIS and Society are the remaining modules and these set of modules will be implemented in the fourth phase.
The cost mentioned for all the phases is for the software design, development and deployment of the modules in that particular phase.
Phase wise development and deployment is being proposed so that users shall get the positive experience of the ERP in comparison to module wise deployment. Say for example, at MSO the ERP benefit is felt if Milk Indents are allowed to be raised using ERP and also payments against the indent are also captured by the ERP simultaneously.

Quality testing machine
Attendance recorder
All Other equipment compatible for data capturing

During the study/finalization of requirement specifications of the package, MoxieIT representative will visit the dairy to study the existing hardware, system software and application software. A report on the suggested hardware, system software and networking requirements will be submitted to the dairy after the requirements specifications are freeze and finalized. Based on this ERP shall be hardware enabled but any extra hardware cost or cost for visit of Hardware Supplier/s should be in the dairy account. Training (Systems, Operating and Users) Twenty days of training per each module to users in two phases. Three months training to system staff on total software and database. Proposal to involve system staff during implementation of the package, which helps in better understanding of the package.
