Technical Comments

Features of offered pump are as under:

1. We have offered the pumps in fixed type of installation. This system comprises following

a. Single Autorail Coupling b. Duck Foot Bend

2. We have offered lifting chain and guide pipe in MS on per meter basis.

Length of guide pipe & lifting chain will depend upon the sump depth in which the pump are to be installed. Right
now we have quoted these items on per mtr basis. During placement of the order, please inform the exact
length.

If length of guide pipe required is more than six meters, the same needs to be supplied in two pieces. In such
case, you will need a guide pipe holder to join these two pieces. We have quoted this guide pipe holder
separately.

3. The Pumps are fitted with multi strand, multi core unarmoured, PVC insulated flexible cable conforming to IS
1554. The size of the cable shall be as mentioned in the enclosed technical data sheet.

4. The motor of the offered submersible pump shall be as per IS 325 standard

5. The following safety features have been provided in our pump design.
a. Seal monitor sensor to sense ingress of moisture/liquid into the oil chamber.
b. Thermic switches to sense increase in temperature of the motor winding.
c. Patented reverse rotation protection system which senses the direction of rotation of the motor and gives
signal to the control panel to trip the motor in case of reverse rotation.
d. Low level cut off through electrode type level sensor

In auto mode, pump will start at high level and stop at low level and in manual mode at high level pump is
required to start manually and will stop automatically at low level.

These special features give signal to the control panel which trips the motor thereby avoiding further damage to
the pump / motor and ensures long trouble free operation of the pump. As these features are not provided in
local panels, in view of long and trouble free operation of pump, our control panel is mandatory.

Control panel offered by us is based on our standard suitable for indoor application. Any change in specification
will be subject to price & delivery amendment. This may please noted. Right now we have offered 2 Nos. level
probes along with control panel.

6. Following tests shall be conducted and certificates to that effect shall be issued.
a. Performance test to establish the relationship between Capacity, Head, Power and Efficiency. (Tolerances
applicable shall be as per EN ISO 9906 : 1999, Grade 2 ).
b. Hydrostatic testing of casing at 1.5 times the shut off pressure or twice working pressure whichever is higher.
c. Dynamic balancing of impeller.
d. Material test certificate for major alloying elements only.

Notes :
1. Delivery : Pump From EPD (Enviro Pumps Division).
2. Cable Length : is the length of submersible pump cable measured between its end connecion (one in pump, one in junction box / control panel.)
For exact details, please refer to the Technical Data Sheet of individual pump.
6) Delivery : Pump(s) with accessories will be kept ready for despatch ex-works in 16 weeks from the date of receipt of clear order with advance. Time for your
inspection, if involved, will be added to our delivery time after discussions.
5) Payment Terms : 30 % of the total order value as advance with the order by Bank draft payable at Pune. Balance 70 % along with full taxes, duties and costs
arranged by us on your behalf, against documents through Bank.
4) All above prices are Ex-Works exclusive of Packing & Forwarding, Excise Duty, Sales Tax as well as any other taxes, levies & duties will be extra as applicable at the
time of despatch.

All above prices are Ex-Works exclusive of Packing & Forwarding, Excise Duty, Sales Tax as well as any other
taxes, levies & duties will be extra as applicable at the time of dispatch.
Delivery: Pump(s) with accessories will be kept ready for dispatch ex-works in 16 weeks from the date of receipt
of clear order with advance. Time for your inspection, if involved, will be added to our delivery time after

Commercial Terms & Conditions
1. PRICE BASIS: Price quoted is Unit Price Ex-Works, exclusive of packing & forwarding, taxes, duties, levies,
freight, insurance etc.
2. DESPATCH BASIS: Free on Truck (F.O.T.) - The goods will be duly packed and forwarded to our
transporter`s godown within Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal corporation area/ Chakan (neighboring Pune). The
goods will be booked as `consigned on self` and shall be further dispatched by our transporter on freight to pay
basis upto the godown of our transporter nearest to the destination confirmed by the Customer.
3. COLLECTION BASIS: The Customer may take delivery of goods from the godown of our transporter
nearest to the destination confirmed by the Customer after completing the necessary commercial transactions.
4. PACKING & FORWARDING CHARGES: Extra as mentioned in the price & delivery schedule. If not
mentioned, packing & forwarding will be charged extra @ 3% of the total order value.
5. EXCISE DUTY: Extra. Present rate is 12% for Pumps & our manufactured accessories & NIL for other
accessories. Educational Cess and Seconduional Cess on excise duty will be charged extra as applicable on
the date of despatch.Present rate is 2 % and 1 % respectively.
6. SALES TAX: Extra. For all sales outside State of Maharashtra, Central Sales Tax (C.S.T.) will be charged
.Present rate is 2% against `C` form. In absence of `C` form. 4% full Sales Tax (for pumps and our
manufactureed accessories ) and 12.5 % for other accessories. However Sales Tax in both cases will be
charged as applicable on the date of dispatch. `C` form (and any other necessary form) shall be given to us by
the Customer along with the payment against the dispatch or earlier.
7. INSURANCE: Insurance shall be arranged by the Customer, and shall be to the Customer`s account. Fax /
Email intimation for arranging insurance shall be given by us on dispatch of the consignment from our works.
8. FREIGHT: Freight shall be arranged by the Customer, and shall be to the Customer`s account.
9. OCTROI AND / OR ENTRY TAX: Octroi and / or Entry Tax, if any, shall be arranged by the Customer, and
shall be to the Customer`s account.
10. PAYMENT: The payment terms will be as mentioned in the price & delivery schedule. The direct payments
to us shall be accepted by bank draft only, payable at Pune on any nationalized bank. Advance may be
accepted by cheque, receivable in Pune At Par within 7 days from the date of Order. Your bank charges will be
to your account. Our bank charges will be to our account.
11. DELIVERY TIME: The approximate delivery time will be as mentioned in the price & delivery schedule. The
delivery time is counted from the date of receipt of techno-commercially clear Purchase Order of the Customer
and advance as per our Order Receipt Note (ORN). The delivery time shall be deemed to be completed on
despatch of our Goods Readiness Note (GRN) to the Customer. The goods shall be kept ready for dispatch at
our works, forwarded to our transporter`s godown or dispatched directly to the destination confirmed by
Customer depending on the mutually accepted dispatch basis and payment terms.
The delivery period indicated in our Quotation is based on current shop load and will be subject to
reconfirmation based on the shop load at the time of receipt of the Customer order. The delivery so confirmed
shall be in good faith and every attempt will be made to maintain the same subject to force majeure conditions
mentionedbelow.
12. FORCE MAJEURE CONDITIONS: Should the delivery be delayed or prevented due to acts of god, fire,
earthquake, civil commotion, government ordinances, import / export regulations, strikes, lockouts, trade
disputes, difficulties in obtaining materials, power shortage, accidents or any other causes whatsoever which
are absolutely beyond the manufacturer`s control, suitable extension in the date of delivery shall be granted by
the customer.
13. WARRANTY: KISHOR pumps are warranted for 12 months from the date of supply, Ex-works. For special
coatings or linings (especially rubber lining) of parts, the warranty is valid only for 6 months from the date of
supply, Ex-works.

Commercial Terms & Conditions
14. VALIDITY: The validity of our Quotation is 30 days from the date of Quotation unless the covering letter of
the Quotation confirms otherwise. Beyond the validity, our Quotation is subject to extension of validity by us in
writing.
15. SCOPE OF SUPPLY: Our scope of supply will be limited to the Pumps, Spares, Accessories or Services
quoted by us.
16. JURISDICTION: Subject to Pune Jurisdiction Only.
17. STATUTORY / REGULATORY REQUIREMENT: NOT APPLICABLE
18. LIABILITY: - KISHOR's total liability, of whatsoever nature, arising out of its product in the Guarantee
Period, is restricted to Ex-works price of the product only, as paid by the customer. No liability, of whatsoever
nature, will lie with KISHOR after the Guarantee Period.
19. SERVICE: - We have not included service cost for any reason outside India, whether during or after the
Guarantee period. If you require the same at any point of time, we shall be pleased to quote separately.
20. CANCELLATION: - Order once placed cannot be cancelled without the express consent of KISHOR and
without indemnifying KISHOR against any consequential loss. In case of cancellation, KISHOR reserves the
right to forfeit the advance against the order and charge the BUYER for consequential loss.
21. ACCEPTANCE: - The Purchase Order will be accepted by KISHOR on the basis of KISHORs valid
Quotation. However, the delivery time will be subject to confirmation, depending on the shop load at the time of
the receipt of the Purchase Order. The delivery time quoted in the offer is not automatically binding on KISHOR
but the one in KISHORs Order Acceptance would be.
