B) Tool is to fasten 10 to 20 cycles on test fixture.
C) Tool is to be operated in clockwise and counter clockwise operation.
D) Check for excessive vibration, heat or gearbox noise when operating the tool.
E) If tool is operating correctly proceed into the calibration procedures.
F) If tool is not operating correctly, refer to the RAD Tool Repair Manual for diagnosis. **Air used for calibration must be able to supply 100 PSI @ 30CFM.**
*New World Technologies Inc. Calibration Lab is tested on Wika Model (213.54) 2.5 test gauge with stated accuracy of +/-0.5% of span.*
*Compressed air for calibration at New World Technologies Inc. is supplied by a Sullair ES-8 75 CFM twin screw compressor through a 3/4 air line to regulator and (3 meters / 12) of 1/2 air line hose from the regulator to the tool. The air line is dried with a Sullair Air Dryer Model SR-125.*

A) Log date, serial number of gearbox, transducer and serial number of air motor in a database.
B) Adjust the PSI on the regulator accordingly so that the tool is achieving its maximum output torque.
C) Ensure that the target torque value achieved is within +/- 3% of desired value. Record PSI value.
D) Once the torque value has been achieved, remove the tool from the calibration system and free run the tool to record the PSI reading in the database and proceed to the next torque value to be tested (50 ft./lb increments).
**Note** Tool must be free running in forward or reverse with no load when air pressure reading is taken.
E) Once all torque settings have been calibrated and recorded, enter these values into a software program of your choice and create a torque chart comparing TORQUE vs PSI.
F) Attach the torque chart to the tool to ensure proper air pressure is used. RAD Classic Series Imperial
