Devote Yourselves To Prayer - Colossians 4.2

 Pray for our children that they would enjoy the summer break, and that they would be ready
for the new year. Ask the Lord to protect their minds that the parents would be actively teaching
them God’s ways to counteract secular influence  Seek God’s direction for organizing the next
courses and instructor for Theologica.  Uphold before the Lord those who are at Cornerstone
that are faithfully involved with ministry, so that they may be encouraged and strengthened for the
Lord’s glory.  There are new updates and prayer items available for our missionaries. Please
remember to pray for them.  Continue to lay before the Lord the plans that we have been
praying about for our future growth, that the Lord would lead the steps of all involved.  Bring
before the Lord our tendency to be ‘men-pleasers’ and to be resolved to be ‘God-pleasers.’

MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENTS & OPPORTUNITIES

Growth Group - our Bible study group will be on break for the long weekend
in September and then meeting on September 19th. Please come and join us for
fellowship and a time in God’s Word. If you are interested please contact the
church.
The Lord’s Supper and Agape Dinner - will be held the next Lord’s
Day. The dinner will be prepared by Judy and held at her place. A free will
contribution will be accepted to cover the cost of food.
2010 Shepherd’s Conference - in
California from March 3-7th and any men interested in attending should contact Pastor Keon.
The cost is $300.00 US + airfare (free arranged accommodation).
