Actix Analyzer Update July 2013 3
2 New collection device or technology support
2.1 Anritsu support
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set negative and/or
invalid values of the PCI attribute.
2.2 Ascom TEMS support
An issue has been fixed that cause Analyzer to set BLER (Block Error
Rate) to values higher than 100%.
A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from decoding C/I
attributes in .trp logfiles.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting Latitude
and Longitude in the absence of primary sources of GPS coordinates
(waypoint files or indoor positioning).
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from fully decoding
Layer 3 messages in TEMS Pocket logfiles.
Removed Filemark and Pinpoint streams from Attribute Explorer.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting GSM
scanner attributes.
2.3 Azenqos support
A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from setting the
attributes:
Uu_NeighborSet_Count
Uu_NeighborSet_SC
Uu_NeighborSet_GSM_BCCH
Uu_NeighborSet_GSM_BSIC
Uu_NeighborSet_GSM_Count
2.4 Ding Li support
Added support for Ding Li Indoor Surveys.
2.5 Huawei CT support
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from loading LTE
Huawei Call Trace files (version DBS3900 LTE V100R005C00SPC320).

Actix Analyzer Update July 2013 4
2.6 Huawei Probe support
A problem has been resolved that caused the Drilldown to freeze when
specific LTE KPIs were selected during the creation of a Spotlight Project
using the LTE template.
2.7 Meritech (Sigma-ML) support
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting Data
Testing attributes from .csv export files.
2.8 Nemo support
Added support for Nemo FF 2.17.
In UMTS, a new IE has been decoded from the L3 DL Measurement
Information message:
3G ADDITIONAL MEASUREMENT FDD_REPORTING_THRESHOLD_: XX
A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from processing
Dead Reckoning GPS files correctly , also in case the GPS message
contains the IE GPS fix with DR.
In UMTS, support has been added for 4 UARFCNs extracted from
CELLMEAS message.
In LTE, added support for the Tx RSRP derived from Scanner per sector.
The new attributes are:
LTE_Scan_RS_CINR_Rx0Tx0_for_PCI
LTE_Scan_RS_CINR_Rx1Tx0_for_PCI

LTE_Scan_RSRP_Rx0Tx0_for_PCI

LTE_Scan_RSRQ_Rx0Tx0_for_PCI

2.9 PCTEL support
Added support for PCTEL SeeHawk version 2.3.0.3 file format.
A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to crash when
specific PCTEL SeeHawk v2.3 were loaded.
2.10 Qualcomm support
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting HO events
and L3 LTE messages when loading specific QXDM logfiles.

Actix Analyzer Update July 2013 5
In LTE, a new attribute (LTE_UE_SR_Count) is now set, which gives the
count of Scheduling Requests (SRs) sent by the UE over the sampling
period.
In UMTS, a new attribute (UE_TxPow_MaxAllowed) is now set, which
gives the maximum allowed power at which the UE can transmit.
In some Qualcomm .ISF logfiles , an issue has been fixed affecting the
PTT (PushToTalk) latency when corrupt timestamps occur.
2.11 Rhode and Schwarz support
Added support for R&S version 4.73.
In HSPA+, a problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from
decoding relevant information about 64 QAM Usage and HSDPA
throughput. The attributes affected were:
Uu_HSDPA_ModulationUsage_64QAM
Uu_HSDPA_Throughput_L1
2.12 Swissqual support
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from decoding L3
messages in some DTI EX scanner logfiles.
2.13 Generic
A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from retrieving
information about LTE sectors on the map, when Layer Type info is
present in the Cellref.
Added support for Band VIII UE capability from the UL DCCH RRC
Connection Setup Complete message.
In UMTS, an improvement has been made relatively to Geolocation
algorithm. In Call Trace formats, messages geolocation is now used,
instead of servers geolocation.
In UMTS, Indoor and Small cell max ranges have been updated to 300m
and 600m, respectively.
In LTE (VoLTE), to better compute the IPDV (Inter Packet Delay
Variation) and lost packets caused by handovers, two new attributes
have been created:
LTE_UE_VoLTE_Num_Packets_Lost_HO
LTE_UE_VoLTE_IPDV_HO
In LTE (VoLTE), decode improvements relating to AMR frames have
been made, and a set of new AMR attributes are now set:
AMR_More_Frames

Actix Analyzer Update July 2013 6
AMR_Frame_Quality_Indicator
AMR_Sampling_Rate
AMR_NB_Codec_Mode_Request
AMR_NB_Frame_Type_Index
AMR_WB_Codec_Mode_Request
AMR_WB_Frame_Type_Index
3 Application layer improvements
None.
4 Platform improvements
None.
5 Documentation
None.
6 Known Issues / Obsolescence
None.
