Whether you're a beer geek, a wine enthusiast or a cocktail connoisseur, here
are fve new bars in Downtown Las Vegas for you to check out.
ART BAR
Found inside Downtown Grand on Tird Street
between Ogden and Stewart avenues, this
stylish watering hole is positioned next to the
hotels lobby. Art Bar ofers delectably inventive
cocktailslike the Mona Lisa created with
Southern Comfort, Smirnof vodka, crme de
menthe and hot chocolate or the Guggenheim
Manhattan made with Knob Creek bourbon,
Grand Marnier and fresh-squeezed lemon and
lime juices. Plus, you can sip your drink while
soaking in some actual art because the ceiling is
covered with paintings.
BANGER BREWING
Located in the Neonopolis entertainment
complex on Fremont Street, this local brewery
has a tasting room with a selection of craf
beers on tap. You can knock back one of seven
wonderful brews: DTB (a brown ale), El Hefe
(a jalapeo hefeweizen), Hops Anonymous (an
IPA), Perfect Ten (an American-style pale ale),
Sandia (a wheat beer favored with watermelon),
Session (a light, crisp ale) and Simply Stout (a
dark beer with hints of roasted cofee and rich
caramel).
BIER GARTEN
Projected to be open by spring, this German-
style indoor/outdoor space with the tagline
Beercraf & Foodery is located at the Plaza Las
Vegas. Bier Garten will feature a fne selection of
international, domestic and local beers as well as
artisan wienersincluding German bratwurst,
smoked Polish sausage and Louisiana hot links.
Te relaxed garden setting will boast games like
ping-pong and live entertainment.
BIN 702 AND THE BOOZERY
Both of these lively little bars are located in
Downtown Container Park at the corner of Sixth
and Fremont streets. Housed in repurposed
shipping containers, youll fnd them near the
complexs amphitheater stage. Bin 702 has a
selection of wines on tap, complemented by
light eats like cheese and meat plates, salads
and paninis. Te Boozery specializes in locally
produced draught beers along with cocktails that
have Southern fair. Guests can imbibe inside by
the bar or go outside where theres a patio and
roofop seating.
