Drill Music
Drill music is viewed in many different aspects. Three aspects that my partner and I are going to
use are bar graph, line graph, and lyrics. We are using these because we think these are the three
sources that will help us explain and inform everyone about drill music
We are going to use the bar graph to let people see how the drill rappers dress and how they
behave in there videos. In every video you are going to see a gun. Everyone in Chicago has a gun
because they know they have to be ready at any time for a gunfight. In Chicago the term no lackin is use
a lot and that means you want catch them without a gun. The videos really do also show the lifestyle
that drill rappers live.
The way that we are going to use a graph is by showing how the murder rate has gotten a lot
worst ever since drill music has blew up. The murder rate got higher because the gangs were dissing
each other on almost every song if not the every song. People have personally blamed the rapper chief
keef for the murder rate rising in Chicago.
Rappers from Chicago rap everything that is true never making up the things that they see or
hear so whatever they say in song are real. This is why we are going to use to lyric from their song to let
everyone understand what they are saying and make sure they get an understanding of what they really
are saying because they tell a story but its told in such a violent way that many people dont like it
because they cant relate but to does that do it is very lyrical. Also within the lyrics they talk about actual
shootings and actual killers that were already.
