INSPECTION
2 Observes patients general appearance
3 Head : Inspection scalp, face, nose
Neck : asymmetry, masses, position trachea, thyroid, range of movement
Spine : asymmetry, curavature, malalignment
Chest : effort of breathing, shape of chest, superficial abnormalities
Cor : Cardiac motion (thrill)
Abdomen : asymmetry, masses, superficial abnormalities, contour

PALPATION
4 Lymph : Palpates major lymph node in head, neck
Pulse : carotid artery pulse
Axilla : Axillary adenopathy

5 Thorax : Respiratory expantion, Cor : precordium for lifts
PERCUSSION
6 Doing percussion alternating Right & Left Lung fields top bottom anteriorly & posteriorly
7 Determine diafragmatic excursion
AUSCULTATION
8 Neck : auscultate carotid artery for bruits bilaterally
Lung : auscultate lung right & left
Cor : on the apex

ABDOMEN PALPATION AND PERCUSSION
9 Percusses 4 quadrants for tymphany & dullness
10 Percusses vertical span of liver in mid-clavicular line
11 Palpates lightly throughout and the do more deeply throughout (liver edge, spleen, mid line
aorta)
