FADE IN

INT. SUNNY PIKES SALOON-NIGHT 1800S

A LONE MAN is sitting in at the bar. The lone mans name is
SAM LEONE. Late 30s, Has a thick stubble and wears a scar
down his left lips. Hes wearing a leather hat and a colored
poncho. His long brown jacket which stops at his knees.
Pants that are torn, and is a rustic color. He takes a drink
out of his alcohol. The BARTENDER, mid 50s, has a pencil
mustache and mutton chops. Wrinkles surround his sweaty face.
Nobody is around them, all the tables are empty and clean.
The Sam takes another drink.
SAM LEONE
Not a lot of folks round this part?
BARTENDER
A little.
The Sam Leone takes another sip.
The doors behind him open up. Both the bartender and Sam
hears the doors SQUEAK, they turn around. A man is in the
doorway.
Hes tall and has curly, black hair. He is in a blue shirt
with a brown vest. He has his hand on holster, gripping it.
VESTED MAN
Finally caught you. Is it true that
they named you Six Shot Sam because
it takes five seconds for you to
unload the clip?
SAM LEONE
Its true, I would like to show you
SAM begins to smirk. The VESTED MAN Pulls out his gun and
aims at Sam.
VESTED MAN
Id rather not. Do you know how
much youre worth?
SAM LEONE
Why wouldnt I? Men have been
riding me for days now.
VESTED MAN
Guess whos going to collect it.
SAM LEONE
Hopefully not you.
Sam quickly pulls out his revolver and fires into the vested
man. The revolver is shot six times at Him. The vested man
collapses.
Sam opens up his clip and we see that theres no bullets left
inside. Sam rapidly reloads the clip and slides it back in.
He pulls out a couple of coins and smacks them on the bar.
SAM LEONE (CONTD)
Sorry about the inconvenience.
He walks over the body and outside the saloon. Sam unties his
horse and gets on it. He rides off outside of the town.

WE CUT TO:
A BOUNTY TO BE CHASED
EXT. EMPTY DESERT ROAD-MORNING
Two men are riding on horses, One is Sam. The other one is
fairly young and has a BANDANA around his neck. A RIFLE on
his back and a .22 LR in his holster.
SAM LEONE
Im just tell you Will, they
shouldnt be doing this if they
cant stand risking their lives.
WILL HENDERSON
I understand that. They shouldnt
have wanted in, if they were going
to back out. But you didnt have to
kill them!
SAM LEONE
I had too.
WILL HENDERSON
What do you mean you had too. They
weren't going to do anything.
SAM LEONE
Weve never worked with them
before! My way of thinking is.
First, we havent had experiences
with them. Second, they knew our
plan. Third, they aren't getting
any money from backing out.
2.
But they still going to believe
that they can get money so theyre
going report to the law. Hoping for
a reward. Hell, they could be
undercover, working for them.
WILL HENDERSON
Couldnt you just threaten them or
something?
SAM LEONE
That would make them more likely to
report. Plus now were a bit
screwed.
WILL HENDERSON
Yeah, we need two more people to
help. This is a four man job.
SAM LEONE
I still think we can do it with
two.
WILL HENDERSON
No, we are not going to do it!
SAM LEONE
Its the only way!
WILL HENDERSON
No, it will never work. Think about
it.
SAM LEONE
Come on, You can easily take the
money while I control the crowd.
Hopefully nobody tries to be a
hero.
WILL HENDERSON
We cant be certain of that.
SAM LEONE
Of course we cant, but we can
prevent that. Anyways it will
work.
WILL HENDERSON
Lets not do it. We can still do
the scam.
SAM LEONE (CONT'D)
3.
SAM LEONE
Ive almost been hanged five times.
And I have been hung three times
because of you missing. Every time
the ropes around me, I can feel
the devil pulling me down. You
should be hung for a change.
WILL HENDERSON
Not going to happen when they dont
know who I am. So why dont you
wear a bandana.
SAM LEONE
Why should I? Most towns know my
face. I already have a bounty on my
head. So why try to hide it.
WILL HENDERSON
People wont get wary.
SAM LEONE
Tell me Will, Is it more suspicious
with a man wearing a bandana riding
into town or without.
WILL HENDERSON
With a bandana on. But in your
situation, its more suspicious
without.
SAM LEONE
Indeed, but still both of them are
suspicious.
WILL HENDERSON
So.... Whats your point?
SAM LEONE
No matter what you are suspicious.
So might as well get something out
of it right?
WILL HENDERSON
What do you mean by that?
SAM LEONE
When people know who you are and
what youve done. They start to
fear what you will do. If you cover
your face, people do get have a
little fear for you. But definitely
not as much as somebody like me.
4.
WILL HENDERSON
I guess it can be looked at like
that. Still putting it on.
Will pulls up his bandana to his nose and tightens it.
SAM LEONE
I dont really care. Are you ready,
were almost at Bakerside.
WILL HENDERSON
Yep, by the way how much ammunition
do you have?
SAM LEONE
As I always say, more than enough.
Sam smirks as they both enter the town. Sam raises his COLT
.45 in the air and starts shooting.
WE CUT TO:
EXT. VALLEY FALLS-MORNING
Sam is riding around on his horse through town. He turns to
his left and sees a a group of women in long dresses,
looking at him. On his right is a saloon. Out in front of it
is a passed out tan, man. Holding a bottle of whiskey.
Sam continues to ride until he reaches a gun store. He ties
up his horse and treads inside.
INT. VALLEY FALLS GUN STORE-MORNING
The owner inside has a white thin beard, tiny glasses and in
his mid 50s. Around the shop has guns of all sorts. In one
corner has an entire shelf filled with RIFLES.
Another corner has SHOTGUNS. The shelves by the corners is
stacked with AMMUNITION. In the middle of the store has all
the REVOLVERS and HANDGUNS. Sam strides over to rifles, The
owner follows.
GUN STORE OWNER
Sir, these are the best rifles
youll find in a hundred miles.
SAM LEONE
Really now, thats great.
5.
GUN STORE OWNER
Its also same with every gun
around us.
SAM LEONE
I need a rifle that can be fired
quick and easily reloaded. Same
with a revolver. Ive worn mine out
to much.
GUN STORE OWNER
Well for a rifle your going to want
the WINCHESTER. Its the newest
one, very much improved only thing
is that its quite expensive.
GUN STORE OWNER (CONTD)
As for the revolver youre going to
need the colt .45.
Sam grabs the Winchester and inspects it. He keeps a hold of
it and checks the colt .45.
SAM LEONE
Ill take both, how much exactly?
GUN STORE OWNER
One-hundred and twenty-five
dollars.
SAM LEONE
I can pay that.
Sam grabs the money from his pocket and hands it to the
owner. He leans against the wall as the owner counts it.
GUN STORE OWNER
Do you need any ammunition?
SAM LEONE
Nope, got enough.
GUN STORE OWNER
Well, you can go now mister.
Sam leaves the store.
EXT. VALLEY FALLS-MORNING
Sam is walking through the town. Luckily nobody knows about
his bounty. He pulls out a note from his left pocket. It
reads Meet at the Saloon in Valley Falls.
6.
Sam looks up from his note and sees the saloon. He starts
heading in its direction.
INT. VALLEY FALLS SALOON-MORNING
Sam steps into the saloon. Inside has a healthy amount of
people drinking. On one of the tables is a note. With a man
sitting at it. The man is Will, wearing the same outfit. Sam
strides over to him and sits down in a chair.
SAM LEONE
Wheres the other two?
WILL HENDERSON
Outside, in the back.
SAM LEONE
Why?
WILL HENDERSON
They dont want to be caught, I
dont understand it really. This
city doesnt care.
SAM LEONE
Thats why we do it here.
WILL HENDERSON
(Repeating)
Thats why.
SAM LEONE
Lets go out back then.
EXT. VALLEY FALLS SALOON-MORNING
Behind the saloon is two people. One who is a young male. His
name is FRANCIS LIST. He looks younger then what he is. Hes
Only equipped with a revolver and is wearing a bandana around
his neck.
The other is a middle age women named PENNELOPE WITHERS. Who
really hasnt aged well. Yet she looks a lot more experienced
with weapons. Sam and Will walk up to them.
SAM LEONE
You gotta be kidding me. These two
have had no experience for
something like this.
PENNELOPE WITHERS
Ive shot a gun before mister.
7.
FRANCIS LIST
So have I sir.
WILL HENDERSON
These people are the only one
willing to do it.
SAM LEONE
(Disappointed)
Fine, but they better listen to
what we say.
FRANCIS LIST
Then its a done deal.
WE CUT TO:
EXT. EMPTY DESERT ROAD-MORNING
The four of them are traveling by horse. They pass a sign
with BAKERSIDE And an arrow pointing down the path.
Pennelope starts to talk.
PENNELOPE WITHERS
Im starting to rethink this.
FRANCIS LIST
Yeah, same with me.
PENNELOPE WITHERS
What if we mess up and get shot or
worse killed. I aint gonna die
like that.
WILL HENDERSON
Thats not going to happen. Weve
done this a ton of times.
SAM LEONE
Guys, you dont want to leave. Do
you know how much youre missing.
FRANCIS LIST
I dont think anything that we miss
should cost us our lives. I just
dont want to die man.
PENNELOPE WITHERS
So then, you want to leave Francis.
FRANCIS LIST
Yeah sure, anyone else?
8.
SAM LEONE
No, you can go.
The two of them turn their horses back in the direct of
Valley Falls. Sam quickly pulls out his Colt .45 And empties
three bullets to each of them.
Their bodies descend to the dirt and the horses run away
scared. Will looks shock while Sam has no expression.
SAM LEONE (CONTD)
Come on Will we need to move these
bodies.
Will just looks at their bodies.
SAM LEONE (CONTD)
Will, we have to do this.
WILL HENDERSON
What about the blood?
SAM LEONE
Damn youre right. Okay we just
ride on.
WILL HENDERSON
Sam! You just killed two people.
SAM LEONE
So what, I told them not to go.
WILL HENDERSON
One of them was no more then
nineteen. You know how young that
is!
SAM LEONE
You cant trust anybody.
WILL HENDERSON
We dont even have enough people.
SAM LEONE
We can still do it, just let me
think.
WILL HENDERSON
I thought we weren't going to kill.
SAM LEONE
Im sorry about the incident, I
just was over thinking. Come on we
better ride away.
9.
The two of them turn their horses and ride down the path,
faster then before.
WE CUT TO:
EXT. BAKERSIDE-DAY
Sam runs over to his horse. The place that he comes from is
unknown, we dont see it either. Sam is about to get on the
horse when he realizes that he tied it to a post.
He slides a knife out of his boot and cuts through the rope.
He gets on the horse and rides out of Bakerside. As he rides
through the intersection five men come from one of the roads.
The five men has their FIREARMS aimed at Sam. The start
emptying their WEAPONS. Sam ducks and lays down, holding onto
his horse.
SAM LEONE
Aw man, shouldve never done this!
Sam flings out his colt .45 And shoots behind him. One of
the mens horses gets shot, it collapses into another horse.
Leaving three men left to Sam.
Sam turns his horse and gets to the edge of town. He stops
his horse and pulls out his RIFLE. He aims and shoots at a
man. He gets propelled off his horse and is laying on the
dirt, dead.
The two men continue to fire, one skims Sams horse. The
horse Starts galloping into town. As sam passes the men, He
shoots at them with his revolver. One gets hit and the others
horse also.
Sam starts to control the horse and turns it back out of
Bakerside. He reloads his revolver and as he passes the final
man, who has dirt all over his outfit and face. He empties
his clip into him.
Sam speeds up his horse and rides out of town. Instead of
riding down the road, hes riding into the empty, desolate
desert. The heat is blazing, Sam starts sweating
tremendously.
He pulls out his water canteen and opens it. He starts
drinking, after a couple of seconds he stops. He closes it up
and shakes it. The canteen sound almost empty.
SAM LEONE (CONTD)
I need to fill this.
10.
Sam puts away the canteen and continues to ride in the
desert.
WE CUT TO:
EXT. BAKERSIDE OUTSKIRTS-DAY
Sam is beside a rock, lying down on the hot, rocky desert
ground. Sam looks down to see blood on his poncho. He pulls
the note, which is now bloody.
SAM LEONE
Damn it Will, you had to get shot.
Sam takes a sip of water from his canteen.
SAM LEONE (CONTD)
Okay, lets think this over. I grab
some help. Then Somehow get out of
this area, lastly dont get caught.
Sam stands up and mounts his horse. He looks up at the sun to
see where its at. He thinks for a minute then rides off in a
direction.
EXT. EMPTY DESERT-NOON
Sam is slowing riding in the desert. His face is sweaty and
his lips dry. As he is riding a group of three bounty hunters
come riding to him. One of them in their 60s, his skin and
his white beard is crusty.
The second bounty hunter is another old man, way healthier
than the other. Has a grey eye patch on his right eye. The
last bounty hunter is a women, late 30s. Dirty blonde hair,
mud all over her clothes and body.
CRUSTY MAN
Well guess we caught Sammy.
The CRUSTY MAN looks over to the other two and smiles.
DIRTY BLONDE
You know how much youre worth. By
how much youve been sweating I
dont think youve been to a town
to find out. How much is he again
Jerry?
JERRY
12,000. Thats a lot for one man.
11.
DIRTY BLONDE
Indeed it is. My question is howd
you earn such a high bounty. Guess
well find out at your hanging.
CRUSTY MAN
Come on Sam! Give us your weapons.
Sam slowly sets down his rifle and revolver on the dirt.
JERRY
Kick them over to us, non of us
want a bullet in our bodies.
Sam kicks both of the weapons over to them. While he does
that he pulls out a small three bullet revolver and shoots
Jerry and the blonde. By the time he has the gun pointing at
the crusty man he gets shot.
He drops to the ground, Blood is leaking out of his shoulder
like ketchup from a bottle.
CRUSTY MAN
Shouldnt have done that Sam!
Sam SCREAMS in pain, he clenches his shoulder. The crusty man
gets off his horse and walks over to sam. He sets the barrel
of his revolver on sams forehead.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
You better shut up! If you scream
again I'll screw you real good!
Sam whose face is in misery nods.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
Good, now you come with me. For
what youve done, I think you need
more than hanging.
The crusty man drags sam over to his horse. He pulls out some
rope from his pocket and ties it around Sams neck. He
tightens it so that theres no free space.
The crusty man ties the other part of the rope on his left
arm. He then bends down and rips the boots off of sam.
He climbs on his horse and rides farther into the desert.
Making sam walk barefooted across the hot desert ground.
Sam is still clenching his shoulder while starting to bleed
out of his feet.
12.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
Do you know why Im doing this!
Sam remains quiet.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
Answer me!
Sam still doesnt talk.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
Shouldve answered.
He smashes his boot into sams right shoulder. He drops down
a little.
SAM LEONE
I dont know!
CRUSTY MAN
Because the two people you just
killed was, my long time friend and
my daughter!
SAM LEONE
Im sorry sir. I didnt...
CRUSTY MAN
Shut the hell up! Im twice your
age at least. Ive lost so much in
my life and you just took the last
of it. Do you know why we were
trying to get you. Because my
daughter cant afford anything and
is starving.
Sam starts to walk slower while remains silent.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
Just to let you know Im not
letting you have an painless death!
Youre not going back to any town.
In a while, well be at the
destination. You might be
wondering, what Im going to do
with you. Youll find out. So
anyways what have you lost?
SAM LEONE
M... My best friend.
CRUSTY MAN
Oh your best friend. So touching!
13.
He strikes down at sams right shoulder again. Sam drops to
his knees and stops walking. The crusty man gets off his
horse and opens up a bag.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
Your friend was nothing! He was a
scum and he was worthless! Did you
hear what happened to him, after
you left him! He got hung!
Everybody in town was cheering.
Sam starts tearing up, behind his feet is a trail of blood.
The crusty man pulls a whip out of his bag. He walks over to
sam and bends down.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
Do you know what this is!
SAM LEONE
A...... A whip
CRUSTY MAN
Do you know how many Negros Ive
whipped with this. Too little, now
I want my maximum use out of this.
So every time you stop I will use
it.
The crusty man whips sams back. Sam shrieks in torment.
CRUSTY MAN (CONTD)
So stand up and walk!
Sam slowly stands up and begans to limp. The crusty man
mounts his horse and starts riding farther.
