Weekly Weather Report
Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Monday Tueday
96/62 100/70 98/68 97/67 94/69 95/69 96/65

Take notice that we are already at higher temperature this morning than we were
yesterday morning. Tuesday morning we were in the 50's now this morning we are
already up to 69. Ther is also a mor abundance of clouds just as this morning is
windy. I step outside this morning to see my large trash can tipped over. So some
fairly strong winds. Yesterday there were some dark clouds over the southern part
of the state, sp expect thos clouds to move closer to us today. Due to that there will
be some change in the weather, however there is much more to report on in expectant
changes in this weeks weather.
The main thing we need to keep mind on is this weather is going to be much hotter.
As I reported earlier, much hotter today than yesterday. It's fair to say the heatwave
can be expected to start today. With the winds, at least we are not in Pheonix! There is
going to be more clouds in the southern part of the state, so if any travelers are
heading South for the holiday, keep in mind that there may be some dark clouds that
may cause a thunder storm or two, mostly in the down south mountains. You can stick
with expecting middle 90's here.
Across the Wasatch front we have maintained temperature below 90's, but starting
today that is all going to change. we will be able to recognize more clouds and
possibly a dark cloud or two may be prominent. It is going to be very hot for the fouth
of July weekend and very dry. So keep that in mind when lighting your fireworks, keep
water near by and be safe. Down South there may be some isolated stroming, with
likely no affects for the valley. Due to the south winds blowing it will bring our temps
here in the Salt Lake area close to or in the 100 degree area. There will be more
clouds around Sunday through Tuesday, but still high temps.
Just a few saftey tips for the weather, it is going to be hot and dry, stay hydrated and
keep sun screen on. Especially if you have children playing in the sun. Make sure
everyone is drinking plenty of water. Have a safe week.
Don't let me forget to mention that today (July 2, 2014) you can expect passing clouds
and wind of up to 6mph from the Southeast, visibility will be around 10mi, pressures
around 29-30" Hg, and humidity around 33%.
