Empty Me
James Fortune
I wanna be more like you
I wanna live just for you
How can I get to this place
When I'm broken and shattered
My mind is filled with worries
Un forgiveness lies within
I'm ready to come out of this
How can I get there
So I say empty me, Lord
Take out everything not like you
Everything in my life not pleasing
you
Please take it away
So I can be all yours, all yours
Empty me
I wanna be more like you
I wanna live just for you
How can I get to this place
When I'm broken and shattered
My life is filled with worries
Un forgiveness lies within
I'm ready to come out of this
How can I get there
So I say empty me, Lord
Take out everything not like you
Everything in my life not pleasing
you
Please take it away
So I can be all yours, all yours
Empty me

Light the Way
James Fortune
Light the way
I don't wanna move without you
I just wanna be where you are
In the desert or promised land
as long as you're with me
Light the way
Spirit lead us
go before us
stay with us
we are desperate for your presences
Lord guide us
Repeat 2x
Jesus, Shepherd, King
Lead us in your truth
We are listening
Light the way
I don't wanna move without you
I just wanna be where you are
In the desert or promised land
as long as you're with me
Light the way
I don't wanna breath without you
I just wanna stay in you arms
Where I'll never be afraid
as long as you're with me
Light the way
Now let you goodness
pass before us
protect us
Blessed Savior
God our shelter
You love us
Jesus, Shepherd, King
Lead us in your truth
We are listening
Light the way
I don't wanna move without you
I just wanna be where you are
In the desert or promised land
as long as you're with me
Light the way
I don't wanna breath without you
I just wanna stay in you arms
Where I'll never be afraid
as long as you're with me
Light the way
Your presence is with us
Your light is piercing through the
darkness
You promise fights for us

Who is God?
Session I
Who is God?...to me
This is a fundamental question that
must be answered individually. We
must reconcile this question for
ourselves in order for us to be
mentally stable. Many will say that
the fundamental question in life is
"why are we here?" I agree that this
is important. But I am certain that it
is impossible to answer that before
you answer the "who is God"
question. Your relationship with
God will influence and inform every
other relationship in your life!
Listen to the prayers of others...gives you a hint to
how they see Him

I Am That I Am
This is not a question we tend to
ask...ourselves...have you?
So, Who is He to you?
How do you see Him?
How do you relate to Him?
What are your expectations?
Do you really believe He is who you say He is?

Take 2 minutes to gather your thoughts
4 minutes each, Partner "A" then Partner "B".
Communicate the following to your partner:
Who is God to you?
How did you arrive at this understanding?
How do you feel this understanding affects your
relationships?
Knowing how your partner sees and relates to
God is vital information for your relationship.
There is no more intimate relationship.
It's more important than your relationship.
It's more important than how they feel about
you.
It informs how they relate to you.

Who am I?
Session II
Who am I?
This question is most
completely answered in the
context of your relationship to
the Father. God designed us to
be a product of our parents'
DNA. Therefore, to attempt to
answer this question without
the inclusion of the Father will
only lead to frustration. This
frustration will bleed into all
your relationships.
What is God's plan for your life...specifically? Rom 12:1-3; Psalm
1:1-3; James 1:5; Eph 5:1-2
Have you asked and answered this?
What do you find joy in? What bothers you until you get it done?
Listen to what others say about you
Others are sometimes able to see things you don't
Listen doesn't mean that you have to accept everything

Who are We?
Session III
Who are We?
Finally, what you thought you
came here for today...who are
we as a couple? More
specifically, how do we relate,
communicate, cohabitate?
Hopefully by this time it is
obvious that these are
questions that could not, and
should not be attempted to
answer prior to the journey we
have traveled so far.
What is God's plan for your relationship?
Have you asked and answered this?
Allow God to dictate your plans...no one else...not even
you!
Guard against your tendencies...
