IMPORTANT I SSUES
DI SCUSSED LAST JUNE 11

During the regular weekly meeting last June 11, incoming
Chair Ped Condeno of the Club Administration Committee
presented a proposed program structure for the conduct
of meetings together with a matrix on member assign-
ments. He also submitted a tentative Schedule of Activi-
ties for the RY 2009-2010.

Ped also proposed that the Club vigorously undertake a
fund-raising project or projects to generate approximately
P250,000 to cover various club expenses like induction
rites, members participation to DISCON and DISTAS,
Governors Fund, magazine subscriptions, as well as to
defray cost of members annual dues.

With regard to topics of interest or value to members, it
was also suggested that speakers be invited to talk on the
Rotary Constitution and By-laws, on Leadership, Com-
puter Literacy, Global Warming, among others.

Barangay Chairman Neneng Valmocina urged the Club to
undertake a Tree-Planting project. This activity is tenta-
tively scheduled on August 29
th
. The barangay will iden-
tify the areas which the project will cover.
