The Eclipse IDU/INUe consists of two/four auto-sensing 10M/100M Ethernet NMs ports, which is connected through the internal HUB; in the document we will discuss the following operations. ProceJure: 1] How to configure Node ID, IP & Default Cate way into the Radio The Networking screens enable configuration of IP addressing, dynamic or static routing, and trap destinations. a) Click Configuration NetworkingWrite the IP address & Subnet Mask into the respective field IP Address & "Subnet Maskcheck Enable OSPF & Check RIP mode Disable. Fig: 01 Fig: 02 b) For Default Gateway Click "Static Routing Check "Enable Default gateway Write the default gateway IP address in the field "Next Hop. Fig: 03 How todo NMS Integration in field & Trouble-shooting Prepared by: Suruz Ahammed Page4 Note: To apply each parameter except Gateway IP, NE communication will become abnormal for that Login again with new parameters 2] How to Connect the LAN Cable as per Cable Connectivity Diagram 1. Refer to below cable connectivity diagram(Fig:01),Connect the both end of the Lan cable to the respective IDU/INUe(Dir: KNRT003 & Dir: KNR008) NMS 10 Base-T ports at site KNRT 002 as per the below Cabling diagram(Fig:02) KNRT002 to KNRT003 A KNRT002 to KNR008 Fig: 04 Fig: 05 3] How to Test the connectivity with Local node & Sever 1. From laptop, go to Run Type "CMD Click "OK (Fig: 03) Type "Ping ***. ***. ***. *** (Local next hop node IP)" in the command prompt Press "Enter (Fig: 04). Do same thing for the sever ping testing. Result: If there is ping response then the cable connectivity & the Node configuration is Ok. If not ok then do the trouble-shooting. (refer to trouble-shooting process) Fig: 06 Fig: 07 How todo NMS Integration in field & Trouble-shooting Prepared by: Suruz Ahammed Page5 3] How to do the trouble-shooting in the field for NMS integration Case 01: If local node ping is not success Check or Change the LAN cableIf the problem is still persist then login to the respective local node & check the networking configuration as per the existing plan if the problem in Networking configuration then do the configuration. Case 02: If local node ping is OK but server ping is not OK Login to the respective local node & check the networking configuration as per the existing plan if the problem in Networking configuration then do the configuration or check the default gate way IP of the node with the next hope node IP. Precuutlon: 1] Before the site visit you have to confirm that you are carrying the required no of LAN cables with the accessories. 2] Check the existing respective radios with the cable connectivity diagram & the IDU type field "IDUJINUe" of Radio IP Plan sheet. 3] Do the cable latching & tagging as per the example of the work order. 4] Do the Node's tagging as per its IP address & Provision ID.
