First Year Applicants
All applicants who have never attended a university or who have not earned at least 24 credit
hours at a university and who are applying to Qatar University as either Foundation Program
or Undergraduate applicants are classifed as First Year applicants and are required to submit
the following:
1. Online Admissions Application and application fee
2. Final, offcial and certifed high school transcript
3. Health Certifcate
4. Photocopy of the applicants Qatar ID card (Non-Qatari applicants must also provide a copy
of their passport)
5. Two passport sized photographs

Foundation Program requirements
Visiting Students
Students who are already attending another university and who wish to take courses at Qatar
University are welcome to do so as a visiting student. Visiting applicants are required to submit
the following:
1. Online Admissions Application and application fee
2. Final, offcial and certifed university transcript
3. Health Certifcate
4. Photocopy of the applicants Qatar ID card (Non-Qatari applicants must also provide a copy

Second Degree Applicants
All applicants who have previously earned a bachelors degree and who wish to pursue further
undergraduate work in a different major may apply for admission to a second bachelors degree
at Qatar University. Second bachelors degree applicants are required to submit the following:
1. Online Admissions Application and application fee
2. Final, offcial and certifed university transcript
3. Health Certifcate
4. Photocopy of the applicants Qatar ID card. (Non-Qatari applicants must also provide a copy
of their passport)
5. Two passport sized photographs

Welcome to a new academic year and to a world of exciting academic, social and cultural
opportunities at Qatar University!
As Qatars frst and only national university, we are constantly updating our program offerings
to provide you, the student, with greater academic choice and to address the needs of the
expanding labor market in Qatar. In 2012/2013, the College of Arts and Sciences debuted new
undergraduate programs in Public Health; Policy, Planning and Development; and Psychology.
Other graduate and undergraduate additions are on the horizon.
Whether you are preparing for graduate studies or looking to start your career after graduation,
you will fnd yourself equipped with a broad knowledge base acquired from the core curriculum
program, specialized knowledge in your area of major study, and a set of valuable skills.
During your course of study, you will be called upon to think critically, analyze, debate, and
communicate, and you will also build valuable research skills. I hope you will take advantage
of the new research infrastructure that is about to be completed at QU as well as the
undergraduate research grants.
But just as you will learn inside the classroom from your teachers, you will also learn a great
deal from the company of your colleagues and friends through a variety of student activities and
organizations that are carefully tailored to your needs and interests. These experiences are just
as important for your holistic education, and are likely to be ones that you remember for life.

OUR MISSION
Qatar University is the national institution of higher education in Qatar. It provides high quality
undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare competent graduates, destined to shape
the future of Qatar. The university community has diverse and committed faculty who teach and
conduct research, which address relevant local and regional challenges, advance knowledge,
and contribute actively to the needs and aspirations of society.
ACCREDITATION
Qatar University regards international accreditation as a crucial step in achieving its goal as
being an institution of high quality and excellence in academics. With this in mind, QU has
embarked on a long-term project of achieving international accreditation status for its colleges,
programs and courses.
Additionally, an institution-wide exercise is currently in progress to gain accreditation status with
the US-based Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

ADMISSION TO QATAR UNIVERSITY
Applicants who satisfy Qatar Universitys minimum admission requirements are considered
for admission. Admission to QU is based on a number of academic qualifcations designed to
enhance students ability to be successful during their course of study.
Applicants to Qatar University will be considered for admission according to the
following admission categories:
First Year
Transfer
Visiting
Non-Degree
Second Degree
First Year Applicants
All applicants who have never attended a university or who have not earned at least 24 credit
hours at a university and who are applying to Qatar University as either Foundation Program
or Undergraduate applicants are classifed as First Year applicants. First Year applicants may
apply for either Fall or Spring admission. First Year admits are not eligible to receive transfer
credit consideration for coursework completed prior to their semester of admission to QU.
High School Requirements
All applicants to Qatar University must complete a minimum of 12 years of formal education
and their transcript results must be certifed by the appropriate educational agency. The
high school grade requirements mentioned in this section are minimum scores, they do not
guaranteed admission, and they may change according to the strength of the applicant pool
and the available capacity in each college or major. Additionally, high school requirements do
vary by college and individual colleges reserve the right to stipulate additional requirements to
the admission minimums listed below.
1- Qatari Secondary School Certifcate
A. General Secondary Schools
The 12th grade fnal high school percentage is used when considering applicants from General
Secondary Schools. A minimum average score of 70% for Science track and 75% for Arts
track are required in order to be considered for admission to QU.

B. Independent Schools
Graduates from Independent Schools in the academic year 2009/2010 onwards are admitted
according to Qatar Senior School Certifcates (QSSC) on the basis of the fnal total result for the
last year.
APPLICATION CATEGORIES

Transfer Applicants
All applicants who are currently or who have previously attended another university and who
have earned at least 24 credit hours and attended a minimum of two semesters (Fall and
Spring), are considered Transfer applicants and may apply for transfer admission to Qatar
University. Transfer credit may only be considered if the applicant is admitted as a Transfer
student. Transfer applicants may apply for either Fall or Spring semesters and are eligible for
undergraduate admission only.
Transfer Admission Requirements
The following minimum admission requirements are necessary in order to be considered for
admission to Qatar University as a transfer student:
1. Earned a General Secondary School Certifcate or its equivalent.
2. Have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours of undergraduate coursework with a
minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 at a university accredited by an international
accrediting association or by the Ministry of Higher Education or equivalent in that country.
3. Met Qatar Universitys English and Mathematics competency requirements. Applicants
who do not satisfy these competency requirements are not eligible for Foundation
Program admission.
The transfer admission requirements outlined in this section are minimum expectations, they do
not guarantee admission, and they may change according to the strength of the applicant pool
and the available capacity in each college or major. Additionally, individual colleges reserve the
right to stipulate additional requirements to the admission minimums listed above.
Undergraduate transfer applicants must satisfy all QU undergraduate transfer admission
requirements for the semester of intended admission and must submit all appropriate
application materials and supporting documents to the Admissions Department by the
admission deadline. Applicants who were subject to disciplinary action or non-academic
dismissal at a prior university/college may not apply or enroll as a transfer student.
Transfer of Credit
Transfer credit may be considered if the institution where prior coursework was earned is
accredited by an international accrediting association or by the Ministry of Higher Education
or equivalent in that country. Transfer applicants must submit an offcial transcript from each
institution previously attended as well as a Catalog course description or course syllabus for all
courses for which transfer credit is sought.
Grades and quality points earned in courses accepted for transfer will not be included in the
grade point average to be maintained at Qatar University, but the credits will count toward the
total number required for graduation.
A maximum of 50% of required credit hours with a minimum grade of C or higher may be
considered for transfer credit evaluation. The maximum age of transfer credit hour eligibility is fve
years. Individual Colleges determine the exact number of credit hours that may be transferred
and applied towards their specifc degree programs. The Student Records Section of the
Registration Department will apply all approved credit towards the students degree program.
2- Private and International School Certifcates
In order to be considered for admission to Qatar University, applicants from either private
or international schools must earn a minimum high school score equivalent to 70% for
Science track and 75% for Arts track. In addition to the minimum high school percentage
requirements, applicants from the following educational systems must also satisfy
supplementary admission requirements:
A. Grade Point Average (GPA) System
- Awarded a High School Diploma in a General Studies Curriculum with a minimum cumulative
GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale (C) and satisfes the minimum high school percentage
requirement during the fnal year of high school.
- Passed at least six different subjects including at least one Science (Biology, Physics,
Chemistry), one Mathematics (Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry), and one English language
course during the Junior or Senior year.
- For majors requiring Science track, applicants must earn a minimum score of C or
equivalent in two Science subjects (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) and one Mathematics subject
(Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry).
B. British Secondary School System
- Earned at least six IGSCE (O Level) subjects with a minimum grade of D and a minimum of
two subjects at the Advanced (A) or (AS) level or a combination of (A) and (AS) level subjects
with a minimum grade of D.
- Passed at least one subject in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics), one Mathematics,
and one English language with a minimum grade of D
- For majors requiring Science track, applicants must earn a minimum score of C or
equivalent in two Science subjects (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) and one Mathematics subject
(Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry).
C. International Baccalaureate (IB) System
- Completion of the full IB Diploma with at least 2 subjects at the HL and the other 4 subjects at
SL level.
- The student should have attained a total grade point score of 24 out 42, excluding grades for
Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Extended Essay.
- For majors requiring Science track, applicants must score a minimum IB score of Grade 4 in
two science subjects and one mathematics subject (2 of these 3 subjects must be at the HL).
A minimum IB score of Grade 3 is required in the other three subjects.
D. KSA School System
In order to be considered for admission to Qatar University, applicants from the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia must complete High School & pass the National Exam for Assessment in Higher
Education with the minimum percentage required by their major/program of choice.

Students Transferring from CCQ
All applicants who attended the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) and who have
earned at least 24 credit hours are eligible to apply for transfer admission to Qatar
University. Transfer applicants from CCQ may apply for either Fall or Spring semester and
are only eligible for undergraduate admission.
1. Transfer Admission Requirements (Graduates):
Applicants graduating from the CCQ with either an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate
in Science (AS) degree and who meet the following minimum criteria will be considered
for admission to Qatar University directly by passing the English and Mathematics
Competency Requirements:
A. Earned a General Secondary School Certifcate or its equivalent.
B. Successfully completed either an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS)
degree from CCQ.
C. Have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of undergraduate coursework from
CCQ with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50.
D. Only CCQ graduates with an AS degree are eligible for Science-based majors at Qatar
University.
2. Transfer Admission Requirements (Non-Graduates):
Applicants who wish to transfer from CCQ before completing their AA or AS degree must
satisfy the following minimum criteria will be considered for admission to Qatar University:
A. Earned a General Secondary School Certifcate or its equivalent.
B. Have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours of undergraduate coursework with a
minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 at CCQ.
C. Met Qatar Universitys English and Mathematics competency requirements.
Applicants must satisfy all QU undergraduate admission requirements for the semester of
intended admission and must submit all appropriate application materials and supporting
documents to the Admissions Department by the admission deadline.
Students who have been academically dismissed from Qatar University and who have
attended CCQ and satisfed the minimum admission criteria listed above are eligible
to seek transfer admission to QU. Courses and grades earned prior to the students
academic dismissal will remain on the QU transcript but the students attempted hours,
earned hours, and cumulative grade point average will start fresh upon readmission.
Re-admitted students may be considered for possible transfer credit according to QUs
transfer credit rules.
Students Transferring from CNA-Q
Under a special articulation agreement, students who have completed an advanced diploma
degree from the College of the North Atlantic - Qatar are eligible to seek transfer admission to
a select number of Qatar University degree programs. To be considered for admission to Qatar
University under the articulation agreement, transfer applicants must:
1. Have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 in any of the following CNA-Q
advanced diploma degree programs:
- Business Management (Accounting)
- Business Management (Human Resource Management)
- Business Management (Marketing)
- Electrical Engineering Technology power controls
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Instrumentation Engineering Technology
- Internet Applications Developer
- Programmer Analyst (Business)
- Computer Support Specialist
Courses with a minimum grade of C may be considered for transfer evaluation. The maximum
age of transfer credit hour eligibility is fve years. Credit earned at CNA-Q in excess of fve years
prior to transferring to Qatar University is not eligible for transfer.
Specifc courses and the maximum number of credit hours from CNA-Q that may be considered
for transfer credit evaluation are prescribed by the articulation agreement and are transferred
and applied towards their specifc degree programs by the Transfer Section of the Admissions
Department. Grades and quality points earned in courses accepted for transfer will not be
included in the grade point average to be maintained at Qatar University, but the credits will
count toward the total number required for graduation.

Second Degree Applicants
Student s who have previously earned a bachelors degree and who wish to pursue further
undergraduate work in a different major may apply for admission to a second bachelors degree.
Second Degree Admission Requirements
The following minimum admission requirements must be met in order to be considered for
admission to Qatar University as a Second Degree student:
1. Have earned an undergraduate degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 from a
university accredited by an international accrediting association or by the Ministry of Higher
Education in that country.
2. Met Qatar Universitys English and Mathematics competency requirements. Applicants
who do not satisfy these competency requirements are not eligible for Foundation Program
admission.
3. Pursue a different major than was earned in the frst bachelors degree.
The Qatar University cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) and earned credit hours will be
assessed continuously through the students period of study at the Undergraduate level.
Qatar University will assess appropriate tuition and associated fees for all students taking any
coursework after the completion of the frst degree.
Visiting Applicants
Applicants who plan to earn a degree from another institution and wish to take courses at Qatar
University in the Fall, Spring and/or Summer semesters should apply as Visiting applicants
and will be evaluated for admission on a case-by-case basis. Visiting students may register in
a maximum of 48 credit hours or 4 semesters of course work at Qatar University, whichever
comes frst. Visiting students may be enrolled as either full-time or part-time students.
Visiting Admission Requirements
The following minimum admission requirements are necessary in order to be considered for
admission to Qatar University as a visiting student:
1. Have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours of undergraduate coursework with a minimum
cumulative GPA of 2.50 from a university accredited by an international accrediting association
or by the Ministry of Higher Education or equivalent in that country.
Must satisfy all QU undergraduate visiting admission requirements for the semester of intended
admission and must submit all appropriate application materials and supporting documents to
the Admissions Department by the admission deadline.
Non-Degree Applicants
Qatar University may offer Non-Degree admission to a limited number of individuals who
may enroll in undergraduate credit courses at QU but who are not considered pursuing an
undergraduate degree program. Non-degree students may register in a maximum of 48 credit
hours or 4 semesters of course work at Qatar University, whichever comes frst. Non-degree
students may be enrolled as either full-time or part-time students.
Non-Degree Admission Requirements
The following minimum admission requirements are necessary in order to be considered for
admission to Qatar University as a Non-Degree student:
1. Have earned an undergraduate degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 from a
university accredited by an international accrediting association or by the Ministry of Higher
Education in that country.
Undergraduate non-degree applicants must satisfy all QU undergraduate admission
requirements for the semester of intended admission and must submit all appropriate application
materials and supporting documents to the Admissions Department by the admission deadline.

admissions application process:
Step 1- Admission Requirements and Timelines
A comprehensive listing of QUs undergraduate programs, admission requirements, and
important dates and deadlines is available on the Admissions website at: www.qu.edu.qa/
admissions. Qatar University will not accept applications after the published application deadline.
Step 2 - Apply for Admission
Submit the online admissions application.
Step 3 - Check your Admissions Status
Review the status of their application, track all outstanding requirements, and receive your
admission decision online.

COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission into individual Colleges is extremely competitive and as College capacity is limited,
applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their admissions application and all required
documentation as early as possible.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for undergraduate admission to Qatar University, all applicants
applying to the following colleges must demonstrate profciency in English and Mathematics
by satisfying the minimum competency requirements as set by the University or pass the
Foundation Program:
College of Arts and Sciences (Science track only)
College of Education (Secondary Education with concentrations in Mathematics and
Sciences only)
College of Engineering
College of Pharmacy
HIGH SCHOOL PERCENTAGE EXCEPTION
All applicants who do not satisfy the initial high school percentage requirements listed above
may still apply to the college of their choice by completing 12 years of formal education and
satisfying the minimum competency requirements based on the college they apply to as follows:
Applicants to the Colleges of Arts, Business and Economics, Education, Law,
and Sharia:
Mathematics ACT = 24 SAT= 550
Applicants to the Colleges of Engineering, Pharmacy, and Science:
English IELTS = 5.5 TOEFL = 500
Mathematics ACT = 24 SAT= 550
The Dean of the College will consider such requests against the quality and depth of the
applicant pool, the available capacity within the applicants intended major, and high school
subject grades.

for Exemption
* MATH 021 (Elementary Algebra): For all College programs that have Foundation requirements.
** MATH P100 (Pre Calculus): A credited undergraduate course for all College programs that have Foundation
requirements with the exception of Sport Sciences.
English and Mathematics test scores are no longer valid if older than 2 years from the start of the
semester of the intended admission (SAT is valid for 5 years). Students with scores older than 2
years must re-take the required test to validate these scores.
The Foundation Program reserves the right to verify any standardized test score and
retest students.
Applicants who fail to satisfy the minimum English and Mathematics competencies
identifed above will be considered for admission to the Foundation Program. Students in
the Foundation Program will be given the opportunity to acquire these skills and satisfy the
required minimum competencies.
RE-ADMISSION
Re-admission to Qatar University is competitive and considers the academic qualifcations of
applicants, as well as the capacity of each college and department for the intended semester
of admission. Applicants seeking re-admission must satisfy all undergraduate admission
requirements for the semester of intended admission and must submit all appropriate application
materials to the Admissions Department by the admission deadline.
Academically Dismissed Students
Students who are academically dismissed from Qatar University may seek re-admission by
satisfying QUs transfer admission requirements. Courses and grades earned prior to the
students academic dismissal will remain on the QU transcript but the students attempted
hours, earned hours, and cumulative grade point average will start fresh upon re-admission.
Re-admitted students may be considered for possible transfer credit according to QUs transfer
credit rules.
No-Show Students
Students admitted to Qatar University who are not registered in classes by the end of the Drop/
Add period for the semester of their admission, are considered no-show students resulting in
their admission being revoked and their admission fle destroyed. No-show students who wish
to attend Qatar University in a future semester will need to re-apply for admission.
Disciplinary Action
Applicants who were subject to disciplinary action or non-academic dismissal from a prior
university/college may not apply or enroll as a transfer student.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Admissions Application Fee
All undergraduate applicants to Qatar University are required to submit a QR 200 application
fee as part of their admission application. Admission applications will be considered
incomplete, and consequently an admission decision will not be made, until the application fee
is submitted through the online admission application.
Transcript Requirements
For high schools located within Qatar
1. Final, offcial and certifed by an appropriate high school offcial.
2. Certifed by the Qatar Ministry of Education for Private Schools.
For high schools located outside of Qatar
1. Final, offcial and certifed by an appropriate high school offcial.
2. Certifed by either the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the country in
which the high school is located.
3. Certifed by either the Qatar Embassy in that country or the Embassy of that country located
in Doha.
4. An Arabic or English translation of the fnal transcript must accompany the transcript if it is
issued in a language other than Arabic or English.
For universities located within Qatar
1. The transcript must be offcial.
2. The transcript must be fnal.
3. The transcript must be stamped and signed by an appropriate university offcial.
4. The university must be recognized by the Qatar Ministry of Education (no Ministry stamps
required from universities known to be recognized).
For universities located outside of Qatar
1. The transcript must be offcial.
2. The transcript must be fnal.
3. An Arabic or English translation of the fnal transcript must accompany the transcript if it is
issued in a language other than Arabic or English.
4. If the university is accredited by an international accrediting association (accreditation
recognition must be listed on the offcial transcript), no further attestation is required.
5. If the university is not accredited internationally, the transcript must be certifed by the

FOUNDATION PROGRAM
Qatar Universitys Foundation Program is an academic entry program designed to bridge
any potential gaps between the students minimum academic skills upon graduating from
secondary school and the academic level needed to be successful at the University level.
Foundation Program focuses on improving the basic skill levels of the student in English
and Mathematics Literacy. It develops students skills in English and Math before starting
their Majors in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, and Education (Secondary Education with
concentrations in Sciences only).
Foundation is a one-year program divided into four intensive terms (9 weeks each) during the
regular university semester, and one Summer term (if needed).
Foundation Program Department of English at Qatar University is accredited by the
Commission on English Language Program Accreditation for the period April 2010 through
April 2015 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and
Institutions.
Qatar University mandates that all new Foundation Program admits must complete the
ACCUPLACER test before they can register for classes. For additional information on the

HONORS PROGRAM
The Honors Program at Qatar University provides a highly intellectual environment for motivated
and academically inquisitive students to explore and achieve their full potential. The Honors
curriculum compliments degree-granting study plans with interdisciplinary courses, small seminars,
and engaging discussions/debates in the classroom and in Honors planned events.
The Director of the Honors Program is appointed by the Vice President and Chief Academic
Offcer, to whom he/she reports directly. The person holding this position is responsible for all
curricular and administrative operations of the program.

Bookshop

A Bookshop in the Food Court for female students sells stationery and classroom supplies,
study and research aides, paint and art materials, Arabic and English language books,
magazines and computer equipment.
Campus Card

Qatar University issues enrolled students with a Campus Card which identifes the student as
enrolled at Qatar University. It is mandatory for students to have the card in their possession
while on campus and produce the card to QU staff and security personnel on request. The card
also entitles the student to access and borrow learning materials from the Library, to use the
copying and printing service, and to receive textbooks.

Career Services Center
The Career Services Center provides counseling, training and professional development services
and helps to prepare students to engage and compete for the best career opportunities.
Career Services Center also provides QU students with student employment opportunities
during their study period. Additionally, the Center provides students with sponsorship and
internship opportunities and supports a specialized career library of publications which may be
borrowed by students.
The Career Services Center is considered as a link connecting Qatar University graduates with
different sectors in the labor market to fnd them career opportunities that ft their specialties and
preferences. The Center organizes several annual events for students and alumni focusing on

Copy Center

The Copy Center provides copying, printing, laminating, and scanning services to students at
the Mens Activities Building, the Womens Activities Building, and the Library. Students may also

Counseling Services
The Student Counseling Center offers counseling to enhance and enrich students
development, maturity and wellbeing. The services provide students with guidance and support
to overcome diffculties that may interfere with the defnition and accomplishment of students
education and personal growth. Our services also provide students with ample opportunities
to develop greater self-understanding to identify and solve problems, and to improve academic
performance through the alleviation of psychological, emotional, and cognitive impediments.
The center provides many different workshops that enhance students skills and improve their
leadership character.
STUDENT SERVICES
Academic Advising
Once admitted to Qatar University, each student is assigned to an academic advisor who is
available to meet with the student, review the students academic record and placement test
results, and make recommendations regarding the appropriate course selection. Advisors
provide students with information on QU academic policies and regulations, help students
identify and access useful campus resources, and guide students in developing decision-
making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Students are encouraged to meet with their
advisors prior to course registration each semester, but they are strongly encouraged to consult
their advisors throughout the academic year.
Academic Scholarship
Qatar University supports a wide variety of scholarships to approximately 400 recipients each
academic year in order to attract highly qualifed students. While the vast majority of academic
scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and scholarly achievement, Qatar
University also provides other scholarships that also consider fnancial need. All scholarships
cover the cost of tuition fees while some scholarships may include University provided housing,
transportation to and from the University, and a yearly airline ticket to the home country for
students who are not residents of Qatar.
Academic Support
The Student Learning Support Center (SLSC) provides academic support services to all
students at QU. The SLSC is a supportive environment where students can seek assistance
with course assignments, writing concerns, transitioning to college academic life, and other
academic issues. SLSC programs include: Peer Tutoring, the Writing Lab, Supplemental
Instruction (SI), Express It, writing workshops, and the Academic Success Workshop Series.
Students may also participate in academic coaching sessions with professional staff at the
center. All SLSC services are free of charge to QU students.

Student Activities
The Student Activities Department aims to promote and enhance QUs mission through creation
of learning opportunities for students to help them develop an integrate mental, physical,
spiritual, and social personality. This can only be attainable through the many activities, events,
and programs which are tailored to develop university students in terms of values, trends, skill
and capacity building, learning and thinking styles that may equip students with skills supporting
team work, making use of their free time to effect positive change in the fashion that responds to
the ever changing life and community demands.

The university provides a Lost and Found service for students, staff and visitors to ensure that

New Student Orientation
All students admitted to the University are required to attend New Student Orientation
prior to the commencement of the fall or spring semester. This is an important program
offered to new students and attendance is mandatory. Orientation provides information on
how to access and use the QU electronic portal and e-mail services, academic advising,
and students register for courses. Students also explore a wide range of student services
including the library, career services, student activities, student counseling, fnancial aid,
student learning support, and ID cards.

Transportation Services

Qatar University provides return transportation services for female students from most locations
in Doha and many surrounding areas. The university also provides transportation for students

TUITION AND FEES
Foundation Program and Undergraduate Students
Tuition fees are assessed based upon the college of the course registered by the students
and regardless of the college of the student. This means that two students from two different
colleges will pay the same tuition fees if registered in the same course. The tuition fees per
credit hour in Qatari Riyals are shown in the table below for undergraduate students.
Tuition fees are the same for non-Qatari students and Qatari students when applicable.
