Aim: The studio project aims at stimulating a standard of design when development takes place in historically sensitive contexts. Objectives: a) Studying the 'context' through various aspects like historical evolution of the area, socio-economic parameters of the heritage today. b) Analysis of the area and issues as well in order to identify the needs in city context and local as well. c) Defining the design problem in response to the studies done earlier. d) Proposals for the suggested design problem giving justice to the historic context.
