Applications are invited for 77 temporary posts of Civil
Judges/Judicial Magistrates/Illaqa Qazis from Pakistani citizens of KPK/FATA
domiciled by 28.10.2013 (04.11.2013 for candidates from abroad) as per
following details:

Qualification Should possess a degree in law from a recognized
University entitling him/her to practice the profession
of Law or is a Barrister of England or Ireland or is a
Member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland.
Age Limit: 23 to 32 years on 28.10.2013.
Pay Scale: BPS-18
Eligibility: Both Sexes
Allocation: 17 to Merit, 10 to Zone-I, 10 to Zone-II, 11 to Zone-III,
10 to Zone-IV & 10 to Zone-V.

1. The candidates are required to be academically qualified in all
respects by 28.10.2013.

2. In case of a government servant who has served in connection with
the affairs of the Federation or the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for a period
of not less than four years, the upper age limit shall be automatically
relaxed by ten years or by the number of years the officer has actually
served, whichever is less.

3. In case of a person whose service under Government has been
terminated for want of vacancy, the upper age limit shall be relaxed by
ten years or equal to the period of his/her actual service upto
termination whichever is less. (Provided the termination of service is
not because of misconduct or other disciplinary action.


4. The candidates from the backward areas (as given in Appendix to
Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit)
Rules, 2008 and disabled persons shall also be entitled for three and
two years automatic upper age relaxation respectively.

5. The candidates are required to apply on the prescribed application
form available on the official web site of Peshawar High Court,
Peshawar (www.peshawarhighcourt.gov.pk). Syllabus and other
details are also available on the web site.

6. The Application Fee for all candidates is Rs.1500/-which shall be
deposited through bank draft in the name of Registrar, Peshawar High
Court, Peshawar.

7. The candidates already in service may apply direct but their
departmental permission certificate should reach within 30 days of
the closing date.

8. Person married to foreign national can be considered only on
production of relaxation order from Government.

9. The Zonal and Merit Quotas shall be strictly followed in allocation of
seats.

10. The candidates claiming age relaxation under government service
shall have to attach the Service Certificate issued by the Competent
Authority with the application form duly signed by the Competent
Authority. In such cases application not accompanied by the age
relaxation certificate shall be liable to rejection.

11. Candidates claiming exclusion of period of practice upto three years
shall attach a certificate of actual practice of profession of Law from
President of the concerned Bar Association and the District &
Sessions Judge concerned or the Registrar/Additional Registrar of
the High Court, as the case may be.

12. The application on plain paper shall not be accepted.

13. Incomplete and late applications shall also be ignored.

14. Applications must be submitted within the stipulated time as no extra
time is allowed for postal transit. The application if submitted on the
last date must reach the office by the closing hours.

15. Only the attested copies of testimonials shall be attached with the
application form. The original shall be brought at the time of
interview.



Ineligibility

1. The candidates who have already availed three chances in the
Examination to the posts of Civil Judges/Judicial Magistrates/Illaqa
Qazis.

Notes

1. Candidates will be admitted to the examination provisionally at their
own risk subject to be found eligible in all respects. On detailed
scrutiny of the applications after the examination is over, if any
candidate is found ineligible in any respect under the rules for the
examination, his/her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the
fact whether he/she has appeared in the examination or qualified
therein. To avoid frustration the candidates are advised in their own
interest to make sure before appearing in the examination that they
fulfill all the requirements of the rules relating to the examination.

2. Candidates applying against disabled quota must attach with their
application form a disability certificate from Provincial Council for
Rehabilitation of Disabled persons as well as disability certificate
from the respective Medical Superintendent/Medical Board showing
therein the specific disability.

Note: If any candidate in the opinion of the Board/Examination
Committee/Competent Authority is to found suffering from permanent
disability which would impair his performance as Judicial Officer shall
not be considered eligible.


3. No TA/DA can be claimed or allowed to candidate appearing in
Examination/Interview.

4. In any case, the testimonials of any candidate are found forged or
bogus, his name would be liable to be struck off and would be liable
to criminal prosecution.
