'NOVA SUPER SEAL STRIPPER' is based on chlorinated solvents and is totally free of caustic and acid materials. It is
particularly designed for the quick and easy removal of oleo-resinous and most other floor seals, avoiding the necessity of
sanding. It is also highly effective for stripping paints, varnishes, cellulose, lacquers, French polish, etc. With more than a
quarter of a century's experience, this well-tried, water-free formulation avoids raising the grain of even delicate woods.

Recommended Uses

For use on wood, cork, concrete, granolithic, marble, ceramic and quarry tiled floors. (Before using on other floor surfaces,
first check with your NOVA Technical Representative.) Also suitable for other articles such as wooden furniture, paneling,
metalwork, stonework and all surfaces which will be unaffected by strong solvents. Even restores old paint brushes.

Directions for Use

1. Shake can thoroughly before use.
2. Open with caution. Unscrew cap slowly to release any air pressure present.
3. Work area by area. Using a flat, natural bristle paint brush, apply a thin even coat of 'NOVA SUPER SEAL STRIPPER'
over the surface to be stripped.
4. After a few minutes the top layer will "blister" and open up. Immediately apply a second, generous coat evenly over
the surface, dabbing it on rather than using a brushing action.
5. Allow the chemical time to penetrate right through the thicknesses of the old coating (usually 5-15 minutes). The
whole surface should become evenly wrinkled and blistered. Test on a small area that the chemical reaction is
complete.
6. In hot conditions, to slow down the evaporation of the solvents, sheets of newspaper may be laid on top of the
treated surface.
7. Scrape off with a broad knife or long-handled scraper. Collect scrapings on newspaper in a metal bucket or thick
carton.
8. Liberally use white spirit with a scrubbing brush or steel wool to neutralize NOVA SUPER SEAL STRIPPER' and to
remove any remaining loosened coating. To speed up the operation on floors, "machine scrub" using plenty of white
spirit and steel wool or an old nylon pad.
9. Ensure that the surface is left completely clean and dry - ready for application of the appropriate protective
treatment.
10. Brushes and utensils should be washed out in COLD water and detergent. Do not incinerate scrapings.
