Storage tips
Kaindl Windowsills should always be stored flat, level and completely covered.
The air temperature in storage room should be at 18-22C, the relative air humidity at 50 to 60%.

Cleaning and care
Kaindl Windowsills are very hygienic and easy to clean.
All domestic cleaning agents can be used for cleaning Kaindl Windowsills - Do not use scouring agents.
For daily care it is only necessary to clean Kaindl Windowsills with a damp cloth. Handle in the same way as conventional wooden boards.
Sanding, sealing or polishing the surface are not necessary because of the special surface of Kaindl Windowsills.
Stubborn stains such as paint, adhesive, nail polish or oil can be cleaned off with acetone, vinegar concentrate, nail polish remover
and universal thinner. In either case please use those agents sparingly, carefully and only in polluted areas.
Those agents must not stay on the surface for any length of time.
Cutting with knives directly on the surface will lead to scratches on the surface.
Wipe off moisture around seams.
Further processing
Before processing Kaindl Windowsills please inspect for any visible damages.
Application of a hot-melt edging tape:
The hot-melt edging tape can be bonded by using a common iron. Temperature adjustment: Wool/Silk.
- till edge is cooled down, please hold a moderate pressure.
Standing over material can be removed by using a chisel or a timber file.
Edges must permanently protected of moisture in case of installation with a wall (edging!)
