Auto model Toolbox Fastener
Boost productivity with intelligent tools
Process of the mapping:
1. Determine whether or not it is a toolbox component (toolbox parameter)
2. Determine whether or not it is a fastener (fastener parameter)
3. Extract the internal toolbox parameter defining the dimensions required (head
diameter for a bolt, the nut diameter, the diameter of the washer, the pitch of
threads for a screw/bolt...)
4. Utilize the geometry, orientation of the fasteners in order to determine the edges to
be used to locate the head and the nut.
5. Machinery's Handbook published by Industrial Press.

Number of cores
Meshing Speed Up v2014 vs v2013
Meshing 2014 Release vs 2013 Release
Average over a few examples with meshing time greater than 30 minutes in version
2013 and total number of cells from 2 to 10 millions*

* Efficiency of parallel mesh generation (in respect to the single-core mesh generation) has a certain
dependency on the geometry analyzed and the mesh settings applied.
