Resourcer (Ref: RES3271)


Salary: 16,000 - 18,000 per annum
Location: Manchester City Centre
Fixed term for 3 months


Skills and Work Solutions are recruiting a Resourcer to manage the end-to-end recruitment process,
to fill job vacancies for a variety of apprenticeship frameworks. Working closely with local employers
to attract, screen and place the most appropriate candidates for the role.
To be based in Manchester City Centre.


The duties of the job include:

To work closely with the applications team manager to ensure the end to end process and connect
between the two functions is seamless
To organise and monitor the daily flow of applications/CVS and to screen and sift accordingly.
To work with marketing to arrange appropriate adverts for vacancies generated and for general learner
attraction campaigns
To manage and develop relationships with Schools/Education sector and the local Connexions Services:
To arrange candidate assessment days and conduct interviews and assessment on a weekly basis
To provide support to applicants for CV preparation and job interviews including conducting mock
interviews and creating suitable journey planners.
To liaise with local employers to arrange interviews for short-listed candidates
To process all administration required to confirm interviews or placements to programme.
To provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates suggesting potential development areas.
To work closely with internal business advisors and tutors to ensure all vacancies are filled to the indicated
timeline and all programmes are full to capacity.
To conduct Health & Safety checks at employer premises to ensure they meet all minimum requirements
for an apprenticeship placement.


We would like to hear from you if you have/are:

Experience within a similar role.
Excellent organisational skills, preferably with proven end to end recruitment experience
The ability to communicate with business partners at all levels and young people to influence and build
relationships.
Knowledge of the education environment, nationally and in the Greater Manchester area.
Awareness of the processes involved in schools - work transition of young people.
Knowledge of work based route including Apprenticeship frameworks, NVQs and their processes.
