ABOUT THE POSITION:
Guggenheim Business Aircraft Investments, through the Guggenheim Aircraft Opportunity Fund, L.P. (the Fund), provides
liquidity to the global business aircraft market, primarily through loans, leases, and equity positions in companies operating
within the industry. The Fund is the first ever alternative investment vehicle within the business aviation industry. The Business
Aircraft Originations Analyst will be responsible for completing due diligence on potential borrowers, authoring credit
memoranda, researching the business aviation market, and valuing esoteric business aviation assets. The successful
candidate will join a leanly staffed team, offering them exposure to all facets of the business. The Business Aircraft Originations
Analyst position is located in Santa Monica.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Develop new and maintain existing referral source relationships to obtain new leads
Gather and communicate business aircraft market intelligence
Help maintain Salesforce.com database and assist with report generation
Leverage Jetnet, Salesforce.com, and other databases to create reports that reflect industry trends, competitive landscape,
potential growth markets, and go-to-market strategy
Attend industry conferences
Stay abreast on industry trends that could impact financiers
Participate in calls and meetings with prospects
Prepare prospect pre-screen reports
Assist with term sheet and proposal generation
Assist in creation of marketing materials and presentations
Assist with administrative marketing projects
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Undergraduate degree in economics, accounting, finance, or statistics highly preferred
Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate in a team environment
Ability to succinctly summarize research and conclusions
Demonstrated academic and professional success
Proactive & solutions-oriented; innovative
Learning agile, able to adapt quickly and appropriately in accordance with the constant evolution of the company and industry
Collaborative, energized by the open exchange of ideas
Strong attention to detail; accurate
