The concept of SNOEZELEN was defined in the late 1970s by two Dutch therapists !an
"ulse##e and $d %erheul while they were wor&in# at the De "artenber# 'nstitute in "olland
a center for people with intellectual disabilities( $t the 'nstitute)s annual su**er fair
"ulse##e and %erheul set up an e+peri*ental sensory tent filled with si*ple effects such as a
