WITNESS ONLINE
The Diocese have taken onboard a
process we use in our parish for
displaying the newsletters and
magazine online and applied it to "The
Witness." So now you can view the
Diocesan magazine "The Witness," on
the internet. Just browse to:
cobden.nelsonanglican.org.nz
and click on the link to Service Times,
Newsletter & Roster and you'll see a
small picture of "The Witness"
magazine pop up. Just click on it to
enlarge and flip through.
MISSIONS UPDATE
An update on how we give to missions.
I forgot one method which are the blue
Anglican Missions boxes at the back of
some of the churches. You can take
these home, fill them up with loose
change over several months and then
bring them in and put them in the plate.
COMMUNITY DINNER
If you write your envelope number on
the white space on the back it will be
recorded with your regular giving for
the year and will be included in your
end of year tax receipt.
PLAYGROUND FINISHED
The Playground is up and running and
should be a real joy to the community
groups using our facilities, and for our
own children. A big thank you to
Anglican Care, Tindall, the Sharing
Shed for finance and to Eric, Rob,
Neville, Jason and Tim for all there
hard work in erecting it.
