SOUL POINTS:

Acquiring of Soul Points (SP)

A soul point (SP) is derived from several sources; it is comprised of 100 eminence points (EP). Chief among these sources are
regency points (RP); one RP may be spent to acquire one EP instantly and at will. There is no limit on the amount of regency that
may be spent in this manner. RP are naturally acquired each 30 days at a rate of one RP per point of bloodline strength, as well as
one point per HD. RP also accrue each 30 days on a point for point basis for each level of each type of uncontested holding ruled
by the caster in his invested domains. Bloodline strength is increased as normal, via spending RP.

EP may also be attained by the sacrifice of magical items not created by the caster at a rate of one EP per 10XP value of the
item, as well as one EP per 10GP value of the item. Magical items created by the caster provide only one EP per 100GP value.
Mundane items, created or not by the caster, may be sacrificed to grant one EP per 100GP value of the items. Item sacrifice may
be performed by another in the casters name, or by the caster himself draining the essence of the item. The items are wholly
destroyed in the process. Items created wholly via magic or psionics (material) provide no EP.

EP may be gained via the absorption of souls. Souls may be gained by promise, or by sacrifice. Promise entails the free willed
agreement of a sentient being to surrender its soul to the caster upon its death. This agreement may be gained by any means save
that the being must not be magically or psionically under mental charm or compulsion. Sacrifice involves an individual other than
the caster sacrificing a being in the casters name.

The amount of EP gained from a soul is based upon the type of creature and its personal power, the amount is also affected by
whether or not the being was a willing sacrifice. A being willingly sacrificed has its EP value doubled. An unconscious being is
never considered willing; but a being that is drugged may be, as long as they were willing before being drugged or if their
drugged mental state allows for clear thought.

The following Table: 1 details the EP gained by creature sacrifice. Creatures without a specific class produce EP based upon
their HD; such creatures with arcane, divine or psionic abilities produce EP as the caster class closest to their abilities, otherwise
being considered warrior/rogue. A creature with more than one caster class produces the EP listed for each (a creature with both
arcane and divine abilities would produce 16 per level/HD. Warrior/Rogue productions of EP are not produced by creatures
without a class if the creature also qualifies for one or more other class productions.

Table: 1
Arcane- 8 per Psionic- 8 per Divine- 8 per Warrior/Rogue- 4 per

NOTE: Dragons produce a base of 50 EP per HD multiplied by age class. Outsiders of immortal status increase EP by 10X. The
avatars of Powers produce 1000 SP per rank.

The final method for gaining EP is via the power of faith. Beings worshiping the caster wholeheartedly provide EP each 30
days equal to that described as for sacrifice (see Table: 1). Casual worshipers, who truly believe, produce half the normal EP.
Those not actually worshiping per say, but serving the caster with loyalty (as a ruler or leader) provide one quarter the normal
amount. False worshipers, nonbelievers or disloyal/non- subjects do not produce EP via faith.
