have a passion for finding the exact terms and phrases.

be a lot of fun), and texts for flyers, leaflets, catalogues. I also wrote the articles and product
descriptions they put on their website.

EDUCATION
West University of Timisoara, Romania, 2008-2010
MA Creative Writing
I studied creative writing both theoretically, and practically. I participated in fiction, poetry and
copywriting workshops and learned both from our professors and from my colleagues. This MA
required a lot of reading of contemporrary books written by British and American authors. Most of
the courses, seminars and workshops were taught in English.
MA Translation-Terminology
This MA provided me with great knowledge in translation/interpreting, from a very practical and
sometimes even pragmatic point of view. We had some translation projects on which we worked
together as a team, from English to Romanian, English to French and viceversa.
West University of Timisoara, Romania, 1998-2002
BALetters
I studied English and French grammar and literature. Most of the courses and seminars weretaught
in English or French.
Mihai Eminescu National College, Baia Mare, Romania, English-French Class, 1994-1998
Highschool Degree
We studied English quite intensively, i.e. 9 hours/week, and had several English teachers. Some of
them were native speakers of English (from Scotland, UK). We were taught grammar, literature,
culture and civilization. Speaking in English during classes was very much encouraged.
