Session 1 Time Group Organization Material Activity 5:00 Whole group Animal masks or animal handout. Color and parts of the body chart. T says name of animals and Ss stand with the animals making animal sounds. T ask questions to Ss about colors and parts of the body. 5:00 Whole group Questions on big slips of paper. Animals visuals T shows a question on a slip of paper and make Ss notice the relationship between written and oral. (Ss repeat). Make Ss aware that questions end with question mark 5:00 Whole group Answer model on big slips of paper T writes the answer for several examples showing them that answers may vary depending on the animal. 7:00 Individual Ss notebook. Ss choose their favorite farm animal. T asks them to draw the animal part by part and asking questions. Ss color the animal saying the color name first.
7:00 Individual Ss notebook Questions / Answers models T shows the question and make them copy it on their notebooks monitoring they are following the spelling and punctuation conventions.
