1. CARACTERSTICAS
El control remoto universal para TV satelital puede controlar la mayora de las marcas de
televisiones, receptores de satlite (TV de paga), DVD y sistemas de cable.
Por su construccin, diseo y cdigos de programacin es ideal para los sistemas de TV de
paga, ya que permite el acceso al men, gua de programacin, informacin, sinopsis, etc.
Fabricado en plstico ABS resistente al impacto.

IMPORTANTE
No exponga el RM-30 a temperaturas extremas.
No deje caer el control remoto, podra ocasionar fallas.
Siempre utilice un pao suave, limpio y seco para limpiar el control remoto.
La garanta es invlida si trata de abrir el RM-30.
No use ni almacene este control remoto en lugares donde existan goteras o salpicaduras
de agua.
Si no va a usar el control remoto por un periodo largo, retire las bateras y gurdelas.

2. CONTROLES

1. Selector de componente.
2. Enciende o apaga el equipo seleccionado.
3. ON: apaga o enciende simultneamente la TV y el equipo SAT.
4. En el modo SAT selecciona las distintas acciones de grabacin y reproduccin de
programas.
5. Guide: despliega la informacin de la gua de programacin.
6. Mosaico: dependiendo las funciones de su operador SAT, sintoniza el canal mosaico o
abre el men interactivo.
7. List: en equipos SAT, ingresa a la lista de programas grabados para su reproduccin o
administracin.
8. Exit: sale de cualquier men. En algunos dispositivos SAT ingresa a conguraciones del
receptor satelital.
9. Select: selecciona la opcin deseada.
10. Teclas de navegacin.
11. MENU: muestra el men principal del componente seleccionado.
12. SET: al presionarlo durante 4 segundos, ingresa al modo de programacin.
13. LEARN: ingresa a la funcin de autoaprendizaje, que copia las caractersticas y
funciones de otro control remoto. Adems permite la eliminacin de cdigos de equipos
almacenados en el RM-30.
14. Aplicaciones interactivas: en modo satlite ingresa a las aplicaciones interactivas que
el sistema tenga disponibles.

15. VOL: controla el nivel de volumen.
16. CH/PAGE: cambia de canal. En el proceso de programacin semiautomtica realiza una
bsqueda de cdigos.
17. Mute: desactiva o activa el volumen del equipo seleccionado.
18. AV: cambia entre modo de TV y video.
19. Teclado numrico.
20. DASH: en equipos SAT, elimina un programa de la lista de programas grabados. Adems
abre opciones de idioma y grabacin.
21. Enter: permite conrmar la sintonizacin directa de canales. Adems conrma ajustes
durante la programacin de cdigos.
3. COLOCACIN DE BATERAS
Remueva la tapa del compartimiento de
bateras que se encuentra en la parte
posterior del control remoto y coloque
2 bateras AA poniendo atencin a la
polaridad.
Finalmente, vuelva a colocar la tapa del
compartimiento de bateras.
El RM-30 puede no tener algunas funciones del control original.

4. PROGRAMACIN
No exceda ms de 30 segundos entre cada paso ya que el control remoto se saldr del
modo de programacin y tendr que comenzar de nuevo.
- Programacin semi-manual
Esta programacin permite encontrar de manera automtica el cdigo para controlar el
componente deseado. Para salir de la bsqueda automtica presione la tecla TV EXIT.
1. Encienda manualmente el equipo a controlar (TV, VCR, etc.).
2. Presione el botn SET hasta que el indicador LED
rojo se active en alta intensidad.
3. Pulse el botn del equipo que desea programar, el
indicador del botn seleccionado se activar.
4. Apunte el control remoto en direccin al equipo y
presione repetidamente CH hasta que el
componente sea controlado mediante el RM-30.
En caso de presionar accidentalmente el botn CH
de ms, simplemente use CH para regresar.
5. Cuando el equipo se controle, presione la tecla ENTER para terminar y grabar el cdigo
en la memoria del control remoto.
Si despus de haber aplicado correctamente las secuencias de programacin an no se
puede controlar el equipo, realice la programacin manual.

- Programacin manual (bsqueda de cdigo por fabricante)
1. En la seccin Cdigos de Programacin localice el cdigo disponible para el
componente a controlar.
2. Encienda manualmente el componente (TV, VCR, etc.).
3. Presione el botn SET hasta que el LED rojo se encienda con intensidad.
4. Pulse el botn del equipo que desea programar; el indicador
del botn seleccionado se activar.
5. Introduzca el cdigo de programacin correspondiente a la
marca del componente.
6. Presione las teclas CH/ para realizar una prueba. Si el equipo es controlado,
presione la tecla ENTER para terminar y grabar el cdigo en la memoria del control remoto.
En caso de que las funciones operen incorrectamente o que el cdigo no sea admitido,
deber programar el control remoto con otro cdigo que corresponda a su equipo.
Recomendaciones:
- Si ningn cdigo de la lista funciona incorrectamente (o la marca de su aparato no est en
la lista), utilice el mtodo de programacin semi-manual.
- En caso de que desee congurar equipos que no cuenten con la funcin de canal /,
puede usar el botn Play en dispositivos VCR o Vol+/- para los dems.

Una vez congurados los equipos deseados en el
control remoto, deber seleccionar la modalidad
deseada SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX o TV y operar el
RM-30 de modo normal.
La funcin de aprendizaje permite que el RM-30 aprenda funciones del control remoto
original para controlar sus equipos. El aprendizaje no se ejecutar si el RM-30 no est
previamente congurado a un dispositivo con un cdigo vlido.
1. Presione el botn SET hasta que el LED rojo se encienda con intensidad.
2. Pulse el botn del equipo al que desea programar una funcin; el indicador del botn
seleccionado se activar.
3. Presione el botn LEARN.
4. En el RM-30 presione y libere la tecla que desea
que aprenda (por ejemplo, Encender).

5. Alinee los sensores infrarrojos de los dos controles (RM-30 y el original) a una distancia
de 1 a 3 centmetros, y en el control remoto original, presione la tecla de la funcin a
transferir (por ejemplo Encender).
6. Repita los pasos 4 y 5 por cada tecla que quiera que el control remoto aprenda.
7. Cuando todos los comandos deseados hayan sido aprendidos, presione una vez SET.

1.- Para hacer efectiva la garanta, presente esta pliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en
Electrnica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrnica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso sin
ningn cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportacin sern cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparacin en ningn caso ser mayor a 30 das, contados a partir de la recepcin del
producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garanta.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, as como hacer vlida esta
garanta es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PLIZA NO SE HAR EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.

1. HIGHLIGHTS
The universal remote control can control most popular TV brands, satellite TV, DVD and
cable systems in the market. It is perfect for satellite due to the wide range of programming
codes, allowing the access to menu, programing guides, info, review, and more functions.
Manufactured in high resistant plastic.

IMPORTANT
Do not expose the RM-30 to extreme temperatures.
Do not drop the remote control, it could lead to failure.
Always use a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean the remote control.
The warranty is void if you try opening the RM-30.
Do not use or store this remote in places where there dripping or splashing water.
If you will not use the remote control for a long period of time, remove the batteries and
store them.

3. ON: simultaneously turns off / on the TV and SAT equipment.
4. In the SAT mode, to use different actions for programs recording and playback.

attention to the polarity.

The RM-30 may not have some functions from the original remote.

4. PROGRAMMING
Do not exceed more than 30 seconds between each step since the remote control will exit
the programming mode and you will have to start again.
- Semi-manual programming
This programming allows you to automatically nd the code to control the desired
component. Press the TV EXIT key to exit the automatic search.
1 Manually turn on the computer to be controlled (TV, VCR, etc.).
2. Press the SET button until the red LED is activated

3. Press the button of the device that you want to

4. Point the remote control in the device direction
and repeatedly press CH until the component is
controlled by the RM-30. If you accidentally pressed

CH to return.
5. When the device is found, press the ENTER key to nish and record the code in the
remote controls memory.
If equipment still cannot be controlled after having successfully applied programming
sequences, perform the manual programming.

- Manual programming (search code by manufacturer)
1. In the programming codes section, locate the available code to control the component.
2. Manually turn on the component (TV, VCR, etc.).
3. Press the SET button until the red LED turns on.
4. Press the button of the devicer that you want to program, the
selected button indicator will activate.
5. Enter the programming code for the component brand.
6. Press CH/ keys to perform a test, if equipment is controlled, press the ENTER key to
nish and record the code in the memory of the remote control.
In case of functions to operate incorrectly or that the code is not supported, you must
program the remote with a different code that corresponds to your device.
Recommendations:
-If no code in the list work properly (or the brand of your device is not on the list), use the
semi-manual programming method.
- When you want to congure devices that do not have the channel / function, you can
use the Play button on VCR devices or Vol +/- on others.

Once congured the desired devices on the remote,
you must select the desired mode SAT, DVD, VCR,
AUX or TV and operate RM-30 normally.
The learning feature allows RM-30 to learn functions from your original remote control to
control your equipment. Learning will not work if the RM-30 is not previously congured to
a device with a valid code.
1. Press the SET button until the red LED turns on high intensity.
2. On the device you want to set a function, press the selected button, the indicator will be
activated.
3. Press the LEARN button.
4. In RM-30 press and release the key which you
want to learn (e.g. power).

to 3 inches and on the original remote control press the function key to be transferred (e.g.
power).
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each key that you want the remote to learn.
7. When all of the desired commands have been learned press set once.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship
and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1. This warranty card with all the required information, invoice, product box or
package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2. If the product is in the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
