INDICTMENT

F14-000355

The Grand J ury of the County of Nevada, State of California, hereby accuses the defendants
of the crimes committed as follows in Nevada County:

COUNT I
On or about April 14, 2014, in the County of Nevada, the crime of MURDER, in violation of
Penal Code section 187(a), a felony, was committed by Scott Thomas Hollingshead and
Christopher Michael Nix, who did willfully, unlawfully, and with malice aforethought murder
B.A.S., a human being.

SPECIAL ALLEGATION: LYING IN WAIT
It is further alleged that Scott Thomas Hollingshead and Christopher Michael Nix
intentionally murdered B.A.S. by means of lying in wait in violation of Penal Code section
190.2(a)(15).

SPECIAL ALLEGATION: AIDING MURDER
It is further alleged that Christopher Michael Nix, with intent to kill, did aid, abet, or
assist Scott Hollingshead in the commission of the intentional murder of B.A.S., Scott
Hollingshead having committed the murder by means of lying in wait in violation of Penal
Code 190.2(a)(15), within the meaning of Penal Code section 190.2(c).

SPECIAL ALLEGATION: INTENTIONAL DISCHARGE OF FIREARM
CAUSING DEATH OR GREAT BODILY INJURY

It is further alleged that Scott Thomas Hollingshead, in the commission of a violation of
Penal Code section 187, personally and intentionally discharged a firearm and proximately
caused great bodily injury, as defined in Section 12022.7, or death, to any person other than
an accomplice, to wit B.A.S., in violation of Penal Code section 12022.53(d).

SPECIAL ALLEGATION: PRINCIPAL ARMED
It is further alleged as both Scott Thomas Hollingshead and Christopher Michael Nix,
that a principal was armed with a firearm in the commission of a felony, namely Penal Code
section 187, pursuant to Penal Code section 12022(a)(1).

COUNT II
On or about April 14, 2014, in the County of Nevada, the crime of SHOOTING AT AN
OCCUPIED MOTOR VEHICLE, in violation of Penal Code section 246, a felony, was
committed by Scott Thomas Hollingshead and Christopher Michael Nix, who did willfully,
unlawfully, and maliciously discharge a firearm at an occupied motor vehicle.
