Love of Travels / L'amour du voyage
"20 years ago, I made a world trip. I wanted to discover other landscapes, other
cultures, other peoples, other realities, other languages... Those years fed my
soul. When traveling, I loved spending time with locals: I wanted to live like
them, eat like them and fell their world the way they felt it. When I came back to
Montreal - at 25 years old - I made a big decision: buy a building and open
a...hostel. That was a way for me to keep meeting people from everywhere, and
learn new realities every single day. Twenty years later, no regrets. I still live in
my hostel and I welcome people from all around the world. I feel happy when i
hear my children speaking Quebecer, Senegalese, English...I realize how
lucky they are to live in a place where they always travel among different
cultures. I love my home, I love my family, I love my job and I hope I will keep
receiving the whole world at home so I will always be culturally and
humanly...rich."
vient eux! J'aime mon travail, il me procure beaucoup de bonheur et me
permet d'tre un homme culturellement et humainement .riche.

Dawson City
10 Things to See and Do in the Yukon!
1. . Though the town of Atlin
(or little Switzerland) is actually in Northern BC, the only road access is
through the Yukon!
2. along the White Pass
Yukon Route. This is the ultimate in scenic train excursions!
3. , just outside of
Dawson City. Share in First Nation Culture, especially during the Moosehide
Gathering in late July where there will be performances, artisans, guest
speakers, feasts, dancing, drumming, and singing!
4. in Dawson. Watch the sun circle
the Klondike Valley, the town of Dawson, and the Yukon River in a magical
and memorable experience!
5. . Destruction Bay is located along the
shores of Kluane Lake in Kluane National Park and the scenery is amazing.
A fishing derby occurs each year around Canada Day.
6. , held
each year in May in the town of Faro.
7. , from Haines Junction. Take in the
unforgettable view of the mountains, lakes and glaciers!
8. , started by a homesick American
Soldier. Watson Lake is also known as the Gateway to the Yukon! Another
tip: While Watson Lake is world famous for its sign post park, the old photos
at their airport really are the Yukon's best kept secret!
9. in the summer in Whitehorse. You can fly
to Whitehorse via Fly Air North from Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna or
Vancouver. Relax and enjoy international cuisine and local beer and
museums!
10. , such as Hore
Frost, Ice Fog, Sun Dogs, and the Aurora Borealis. There are no bears or

Arriving in the Yukon from Alaska - the famous Yukon
welcome sign at the border and along the highway to
Dawson City. Only 105km to go!
In February 2014, Yukon celebrated the 50th Anniversary of
its Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous event. For a few days
each winter Yukoners turn back time to the days of feather
boas, fishnet stockings , gamblers and their girls.
This year the Beez Kneez Bakpakers won the best
