ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Join in the action as you learn how to create stop-motion movies on the iPad during an
exciting learning adventure. #We need teams of 3-5 students plus one teacher from your
school to join in this collaborative workshop where you will go from beginner to master movie-
maker as you and your team complete creative challenges and play to
learn. #There will be a lot of laughs, but at the end of the session you
will take some serious skills back to your classroom.

Beginner user? No problem - youll have a lot of fun as you explore a 'structured play to learn' mindset..
In this session you'll learn how to produce stop-motion movies using Play Doh, Lego and leaves to explore maths
concepts, sight words and narrative stories. #We will use text and photographs to enhance visual literacy, draw
with words to illustrate shape poetry, make historical gures talk, drag and drop to create digital books you
can share..and there's lots more!#
You'll return to your classroom with the tools and tactics you need to implement these exciting workows in
your own classroom.

Grab your iPads and learn how to make amazing stop motion movies! This hands-on course will introduce you to
the powerful creative tools you have at your ngertips and its a lot of fun!# You'll create a number of projects
during the session using claymation, drawing and assemblages. #There's new techniques to explore,#lots of cool
material to use and you'll take away an understanding of a variety of apps to use on your own projects.

Using your own ideas and interests we'll create exciting mixed-media work by
combining traditional, hands-on art-making processes with photography and apps.
#Yes, you can draw and paint digitally, but thats just the beginning. This workshop
will introduce you to workows that bring your ideas to life in ways you never
imagined.#
Create artistic movies using still images, pencil portraits using typed
words and paintings using your photographs. Intrigued? This
hands-on course will get you creating work to your folio on the
