Hindustan Unilever Limited invites applications for the:

Summer Internships (Technical Function) 2015

Students pursuing the following courses and in the specified graduating year can apply:


Supply Chain Function: Mechanical Engineering: Open to all students in 3rd
year B. Tech / Dual Degree (Mechanical Engg.) course only.

R&D Function: Chemical Engineering: Open to all students in 3rd year B. Tech
/ Dual Degree (Chemical Engg.) course only.

*Dual applications will be rejected.

The instructions given below contain details on how to access the website to deposit
and fill in the online application blank. It also contains some information that will help
you in filling the application with the correct information.

To access the website please follow the following path:

Go to www.hul.co.in

Click on " HUL Careers"

Click on Apply Now under the Post Graduates tab

Click on Graduate Institute link

Please enter hgi50100 (first 3 are alphabets and last 5 are numbers)

Once the next page opens, click on your Institute Name and the function that
you want to apply for.

Click on "send your application online".

Give a login ID put in a password and then click on "deposit my resume and
apply"

Give your mail id, date of birth and login id (anything of your choice)






Fill ALL the details in the form.



Please note: We have designed this application form to enable you to bring forth
the salient points about your personal experiences and career objectives. It is
intended to give us an impression of you as an individual and also help assess
whether we could provide you an employment opportunity/ career that is best
suited to your abilities and interest.

If you are invited for the selection process and the personal interview thereafter
this form would be used as a basis for those discussions and we would therefore
like you to give due consideration to the questions in the application form.

The section given below contains instructions that will help you fill various parts of the
online job application form. You can refer to these instructions incase you do not
understand any of questions / information asked for in the application form.

If this section is not helpful and your query remains unresolved please ask your
Training and Placement Office. They can contact the HUL Resourcing Team who will
resolve / answer it for you.

Question/ Section wise explanation about the online Application Blank:

Position Wise Details: From the drop down menu please select Eg "Summer
Trainee"

Function Applied For: Please select the Technical option. Students applying
for any other function than the one specified will have their applications
rejected.

Part I

This deals with your academic history.

Higher Secondary/ Std X: Grade/ Percentage marks: please
enter the marks/ grade obtained. Range Corresponding to %
marks obtained: For example, If you have obtained a grade of 8
out of a total of 10, this corresponds to the range 80% to 89%
then click on this range.

Sr. Secondary/ Std XII: Grade/ Percentage marks: please enter
the marks/ grade obtained. Range Corresponding to % marks
obtained: For example, If you have obtained a grade of 8 out of
a total of 10, this corresponds to the range 80% to 89% then
click on this range.








Current Qualification: Degree/ Qualification: This relates to
your current degree that you are pursuing at your institute.

Where would you place yourself in terms of relative
performance in your Batch/Dept/Class: In terms of the latest
CQPI/ GPI available, what is your position in class? For example
if you are the 2nd rank in the batch out of 100 people, you are
in the top 5%. Similarly, if you are 40th rank, in a class of 100
people, you are in the Below 30%

Any Other Degree/ Qualification: If you have done any
vocational course, you can put in the details here.

Part II

This deals with your participation in extra curricular activities.
You can mention up to a maximum of 3 extra curricular
activities.

Part III

This deals with positions of leadership held by you.

Part IV

Summer Internship: If you have done any internship as a part of
any previous course. Please mention the organization / company
along with brief details of the project / s.

Work Experience: If you have work experience in any company/
organization, please mention this here. Part time work
experience can also be entered here. Please be very specific
about the work you did and the time period.


This section is followed by three questions that you are requested to answer
based on your personal or professional experiences.

The form also has the facility to upload your photograph. Please note that this
is a mandatory requirement and you are requested to upload your
photograph by following the instructions that appear on the screen.

Give a password at the end of the form











Click on "submit" to deposit your resume. If you have left some fields empty,
the form will not be deposited. Please fill in these details and take a print out
of the form and then submit the form


At a later point of time, if you want to edit your form/ take a print out, you
can give your login and the password you have assigned at the end of the
form, edit the form/ take a print out and then redeposit it.
