SUMMARY


This paper work describes how the design and programming of virtual e-
commerce store.
Recognizing and understanding the needs of site visitors wanted to be designed
considering establishing objective. Regardless of the specific Web site, ensure that we have
defined a set of goals, we know what we want to achieve together with the start of
construction activities and development of the site is the first step.
Identifying potential site visitors is crucial. Site design organization shall be in
accordance with the needs and expectations of the audience. Level of learning, interests and
aspirations of users will vary from beginners who need a carefully structured introduction
to known users - irritated by any aspect that you defer access to information.
A well designed website should be accessible to a wide range of interests and
skills of the users.
Site designed and aims to promote online sales of electronic products that are in
stock store Eshopping SRL. Each sale will be followed by a command will be confirmed
for the delivery to take place. Confirmation will be made by e-mail server so that the store
will be installed will be able to send and receive e-mail.
The first chapter presents general information about e-commerce.
Electronic commerce is the buying and selling activity via remote data
transmission, specific activity expansive marketing policy of commercial companies.
Sales and trading using electronic commerce can be realized through the World

In the second chapter , I presented the role and importance of Internet and web
pages.
Romanian e-commerce increases monotonically from one year to another with 33-
35%; few - if not all - are industries where longer register such an increase. Even if other
neighboring countries such as Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary, e-commerce market is
more developed, Romania has a fantastic capacity for growth and is on the list of priorities
for investors in the industry when it comes to Eastern Europe.
Nowadays, it is well known that a very important role in developing a specific
business has presence on the web. The website is a business tool, with which you can work
and earn at the same time. If a company does not have a website of his, most customers will
look distrustful of services or products company.
The third chapter contains general notions about MySQL,PHP,HTML and CSS.
MySQL is a database management fast and easy to use by developers of websites.PHP, a
scripting language designed specifically for use on the Web, is a tool to create web pages
dinamice.Este rich in features which makes web design and programming is easy.Hypertext
Markup Language, or HTML, the code base is the foundation of every site on the World
Wide Web. HTML is used to mark text and other content of the page, as well as to define
how a page is structured. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a simple language that defines
the styles that can be applied to HTML. If HTML describes the structure of a web
page,CSS describes the presentation.Also in subsections third chapter presents the
advantages of MySQL,PHP and HTML.
In the fourth chapter I presented the design and programming of virtual store
Eshopping.Store structure is composed of three sections: section of presentation, section of
the client and section of administration. Presentation section addresses the visitor can learn
about the store, can have access to the product catalog and find out more information about
the store and price. Client section is available to registered users. They may, in addition to
the usual facilities offered to a guest, to order products. To perform command they provide
a shopping cart that can add or remove products can during navigation. Administration
section is accessible virtual store manager who can be an employee with access to store
products.

The database used to store virtual Eshopping belongs MySQL and contains several tables
including: ps_contact, ps_product, ps_orders, ps_cart, ps_customer.
Website pages were created using Adobe Dreamweaver Web development application
CS5.5 and NotePad +. The page design website was made using CSS styles (Cascading
Style Sheets) and programming language used for web application development was PHP.
The first step in the development application is to connect to the database in order
to extract necessary information display products and other sections of the site. Connection
is made using the mysql_connect (); using the connection parameters server address,
username and password.
Site information are loaded dynamically inside the file index. php using the global variable
$ _GET. Some sessions are saved in order to make the transition from one page to another
keeping the information hidden visitor session. Search form consists of an HTML form that
contains a text field and a button. After searching for a product return products containing
the search database. If there are items in the selected subcategory products are displayed
using the scroll repetitive structure of values returned, otherwise the message There are no
products in this category. Product display page includes the product name, its image and
price giving the user the ability to view more product information by clicking View and a
quick add to shopping basket shopping if he already knows the technical specifications. All
this information is extracted from the database according to the product code provided by
the $ _GET. To shop users need to create an account with a simple click on the icon Login.
To create a new account, the user enters the email address they use on accessing the Create
an account button. The next step to creating a successful personal account is input in the
login form and pressing the Register button. Once the user has created an account, he can
manage his personal data, orders, invoices cancellation, favorite products and alerts for
different products that the customer has created alerts.In Order.php page, the user will be

The purpose of this paper is to acquaint the probabilities of the Internet in
accessing information, their application for their own and description of how the design and
programming of virtual stores in e-commerce.
