Situation:
200 feet of 8 cast iron sanitary sewer line was failing. The
sanitary system was located deep under foors, foundations
and inside walls. The customer needed a long-term solution.
Solution:
Working with general contractor ESGI, Nu Flow was able
to rehabilitate the pipe system using our structural lining,
saving the customer the destructive, time-consuming and
costly option of a re-pipe.

Anheuser-Busch Brewery: Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation
Location: Williamsburg, Virginia
Location: Carlsbad, California
Situation:
Copper pipes were accidentally installed as for the Encina
Wastewater Authoritys water treatment lab. These gas and
compressed air lines are used for metal analysis, so the pipes
can not be made of metal. Since the lab had just been built,
the customer did not want a destructive and disruptive re-pipe.
Solution:
Nu Flows in-place pipe lining technology provided the ideal
solution for the customer. Our technicians used existing
access points to apply our blown-in epoxy coating to the
1/2"-wide compressed air and argon gas lines. This barrier
successfully prevents copper contamination for the lab.

Encina Wastewater Authority: Compressed Air and Gas Line Rehabilitation
Location: Baja California, Mexico
Situation:
A potable fltration line at a liquefed natural gas plant
experienced constant failure and leaks due to the effects
of purifed water corrosion. The carbon steel pipes are
organized in a maze-like pattern across the ceilling, which
made them challenging to access.
Solution:
Nu Flow cleaned the potable system and then lined it using
our patented blown-in epoxy coating, which created a thin,
protective coating that will prevent future problems. This
eco-friendly process means less mess, less hassle and less
cost for the customer.

Liquefed Natural Gas Plant: Potable System Rehabilitation
Location: Carlton, Wisconsin
Situation:
Part of a 6 diameter drain pipe encased in concrete was
leaking 10 feet under a concrete structure. Breaking through
the concrete to access the pipe was not an option.
Solution:
Nu Flow rehabilitated the leaking pipe with our Pull-in-Place
structural liner and created a seamless pipe inside the host
pipe without disrupting the plants normal operations. Nu
Flow contracted a scuba diver to work at the discharge point
below the waterline in Lake Michigan.

Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant: Underground Drain Rehabilitation
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Situation:
The transformer emergency cooling system consists of 8"
ductile iron pipes that are underground and embedded in
concrete. This aged system leaked, so this repeat customer
knew the pipes had to be fxed because a failing emergency
cooling water system is unacceptable.
Solution:
Nu Flow had the ideal solution for this repeat customer because
our in-place technology prevented shutting down a power
station and saved the dams integrity. We also worked within the
customers strict budget and timeline. Our no-dig, Pull-in-Place
structural liner covers all cracks and will prevent future failures.

Raccoon Mountain Pumped-Storage Plant: Cooling Water System Rehabilitation
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Situation:
500 feet of 6 fre suppression lines were experiencing
pinhole leaks, tuberculation and fow reduction. The fre
suppression system consists of ductile and cast iron pipes
with 90-degree elbows and 260 feet underneath fnished
concrete and interlocking pavers.
Solution:
Nu Flow frst sandblasted the inside of the pipe system to rid
it of corrosion, then our patented epoxy was blown into the
pipes using our trenchless technology. This left a permanent,
protective coating inside the host pipes, which will prevent
future corrosion and pinhole leaks.

Sandia National Laboratories: Fire Suppression Main Rehabilitation
Location: San Diego, California
Situation:
Sanitary drain line had reduced water fow and backups
because of cracking, root intrusions and weakened joints.
The system consists of 6 clay pipe connected to 4 PVC
pipe, beneath a layer asphalt.
Solution:
The pipe is below an entrance to the building, so Nu Flows
trenchless technology prevented disruption to the offces
normal operations. Nu Flow cleaned the pipe system,
restoring fow, and then installed our structural drain liner to
prevent future problems.

General Atomics: Sanitary Drain Line System Rehabilitation
Location: Chula Vista, California
Situation:
PVC pipe that carries de-ionized water lines was leaking at
pipe joint locations. The pipe system is suspended 15 feet in
the air, surrounded by other pipes and include 4 mainlines
and 2 tie-ins.
Solution:
After sandblasting the inside of the pipes to clean and
remove build-up, epoxy was applied to cover up leaks and
prevent corrosion. Nu Flows epoxy solution is estimated to
save the customer about $2,800 per year in maintenance
and repair.

Goodrich Industrial: PVC Potable Water Lines Rehabilitation
Location: Greenbelt, Maryland
Situation:
Nu Flow was asked to rehabilitate a buildings secondary
heating system to remove it of corrosion and to extend its
useful life. The carbon steel and copper pipe systemconsists
of 600 feet of mainline and 130 feet of lateral line pipes.
Solution:
Day-to-day operations were not disturbed thanks to Nu
Flows trenchless blown-in epoxy coating process. The host
pipes in the heating system now have a protective barrier to
prevent pinhole leaks and corrosion.
