Zara is the flagship brand of Spanish fashion group Inditex. The first shop opened in the La
Coruna, Galicia, in 1975. There are around 400 Zara stores around the world. It is one of the
fastest growing retailers. Which fast established itself as the new standard and what other
companies aspire to be.

Due to its unique Business Model of Vertical Integration Zara is able to sell the products at
low cost to the customers. Customers can buy Zara products online from well known sites
such as E-bay. By taking this step Zara has tried to revolutionaries the whole value chain and
reach more and more Customers.

work culture. My name is Faisal Ahmed and I am 20 years old. I find myself to be a quite
polite yet well spoken individual, who loves working with people and goes the extra mile to
ensure the customer satisfaction.

Currently I am pursuing my Bachelors degree in Business Management and working as part


time with the Canvas BD which gave me a platform to mature as an individual and face the
world. The experiences at Canvas BD polished my image and gave me an insight into the soft
and hard aspects of Customer Service.

If I am successful in my application I will bring to the company my experience, skills,


knowledge, determination and strong work ethics. I am looking to build up my career in retail
working for Zara and will prove an asset to the company.
