Application are invited for the following posts under BAU, Sabour on the prescribed
form along with non-refundable, A/C Payee Demand Draft Payable at State Bank of India,
Sabour branch (Code no. 11805) for Rs. 450.00 (Rupees Four hundred fifty) only for
General/BC/EBC/RCF and Rs. 150.00 (Rupees One hundred fifty) only for SC/ST candidates
drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur).
The application form can be down-loaded from the website www.bausabour.itechriver.com
and a demand draft as indicated above must be enclosed along with application form. The
down-loaded application form without requisite fee (D.D. as stated above) will be rejected. A
separate application with separate fee is required for each post. The application along with all
relevant documents should reach the Officer-in-Charge (Recruitment), Bihar Agricultural
University, Sabour813210, Bhagalpur on or before 30.09.2011 up to 05:00 P.M. only
through registered post/speed post/courier post. The in-service candidate should submit
application through proper channel. However, they must submit advance copy with requisite
fee within stipulated time. The persons with disabilities may also apply with supportive
documents. They will be provided reservation as per rule.
Note: Please write the advt. no. and name of the post on top of the envelope.

1. Deputy Director Administration (One Post- Unreserved)
Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P. Rs. 6600/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Bachelor degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent
grade.
(ii) At least Eight years of experience as administrative position in Govt. / Semi Govt. /
Public undertaking. Knowledge of computer application is essential.

2. Deputy Registrar (One Post- Unreserved)
Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P. Rs. 6600/-
Essential Qualification: (i) A Masters Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its
equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
(ii) Five years of experience as Assistant Professor in a College or a University with
experience in educational administration. Or Comparable experience in research
establishment and / or other institutions of higher education. Or Five years of administrative
experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.

3. Deputy Comptroller (One Post- Unreserved)
Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P. Rs. 6600/-
Essential Qualification: (i) A Master Degree in Commerce / MBA / Economics / Agril.
Economics / Finance Management with 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
(ii) At least five years of experience as Assistant Comptroller or its equivalent in a College or
a University with experience in account administration.
(iii) Persons having qualification of Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accounts with
Graduate Degree could also be considered.

4. Assistant Comptroller (Four Posts- 02 UR, 01 EBC, 01 SC)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4800/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Good Academic record plus Masters Degree in Commerce /
MBA with at least 55% marks or its equivalent.

5. Assistant Registrar (One Post- Unreserved)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4800/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Good academic record plus Masters Degree with at least 55% of
the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.







6. Assistant Director Recruitment (One Post- Unreserved)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4800/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Bachelors degree with at least 55% of the marks or its
equivalent grade.
(ii) At least five years of experience of which three years as Section Officer / Assistant
Administrative Officer or an equivalent post in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public undertaking
organization. Knowledge of computer application is essential.

7. Estate Officer (One Post-Unreserved)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4200/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks & experience of five
years as revenue officer / revenue inspector in any Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public Sector
organization. Knowledge of computer application is essential.

8. Audit Officer (One Post-Unreserved)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4800/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Graduate in Commerce / Arts / Science from a recognized
University.
(ii) Five years experience as Senior Auditor / Charter Accountancy in Govt. /Semi Govt. /
Public undertaking organization. Knowledge of computer application is essential.

9. Senior Auditor (Two Posts-01 UR, 01 EBC)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4200/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Graduate in Commerce / Arts / Science from a recognized
University.
(ii) At least three years experience of Audit and Accounts in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public
undertaking / Firms dealing with Audit & Accounts. Knowledge of computer application is
essential.

10. Junior Auditor (Five Posts-03 UR, 01 EBC, 01 SC)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4200/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Graduate in Commerce / Arts / Science of a recognized
University. Preference will be given to candidates with two years experience of Audit and
Accounts in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public undertaking / Firms dealing with Audit & Accounts.
Knowledge of computer application is essential.

11. Executive Engineer (One Post-Unreserved)
Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P. Rs. 6600/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University
Institution having 55% marks.
(ii) Candidate must have experience for minimum eight years as Assistant Engineer (Civil) or
equivalent in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public undertaking. Knowledge of computer application is
essential.

12. Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical) (2+1) - (Three Posts -02 UR, 01 EBC)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 5400/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering from any recognized
University / Institution with 55% marks.
(ii) Two years experience in Civil/Electrical Engineering from Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public
undertaking organization (Relaxable in case of candidates having brilliant academic records).
Knowledge of computer application is essential.

13. Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) (6+2) - (Eight Posts -04 UR, 02 EBC, 01 SC, 01 BC)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4200/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Three years diploma course in Civil / Electrical Trade. Two
years experience in Civil / Electrical Engineering works (Relaxable in case of candidates
having brilliant academic records). Knowledge of computer application is essential.






14. Section Officer (Eleven Posts -06 UR, 02 EBC, 02 SC, 01 BC)
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4800/-
Essential Qualification: (i) Graduate in Arts / Science / Commerce from recognized
University having five years of experience as Assistant in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public
undertaking organizations. Knowledge of computer application is essential.

NOTE:-
Knowledge of Computer Application is essential for all posts.
The University reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw the post (s), change
the designation and also not to fill up any post even after selection. No correspondences will
be entertained in this regard. Fee once deposited shall not be refunded even if University not
to fill up the post.
In no case application received after closing date will be considered. The original
application form duly forwarded by parent office must reach to this office within a fortnight
after closing date in case of in-service candidates.


No TA and DA will be paid for appearing in the interview even if a scheduled interview

Terms and Conditions for Advertisement No. 11/2011

1. Candidates in service should submit their original applications through proper channel.
However, advance copy must reach to the office of the recruitment on or before last date and
time. Application received after last date will not be entertained. Original application duly
forwarded by the competent authority must reach the office of the recruitment within a
fortnight.

2. Reservation facilities for candidates belonging to SC/ST/EBC/BC/RC(F) categories and
physically handicapped will be provided as per current State Governments reservation rules.

3. Application must accompany self-attested photocopies of all certificates and mark-sheets
from Matriculations onwards in support of age, academic qualification, experience, medals,
fellowship, publications etc. to calculate the weightage of marks of the candidates.

4. Requisite academic qualifications, experience, awards, medals, fellowship etc. will be
considered which have been awarded till last date of application.

5. No enclosure/certificates will be accepted after last date of application.

6. Details of the research papers with a copy of reprint is essential to be enclosed. In case of
books photocopy of cover page, Preface, contents and back cover page be attached with the
application.

7. Candidate seeking employment against reserved vacancies must submit caste certificate
issued by District Magistrate Physically handicapped persons must submit the certificate of
disability issued by the Medical Board of State Government Hospital.

8. Demand draft must be issued by a Nationalized Bank on or after the date of advertisement.

9. Candidate has to affix a recent passport size self-attested photograph on the application.

10. Candidate must bring all the original documents at the time of interview. Non-production of
original certificates will amount to disqualification.

11. Selected candidate will be required to submit a bond on non-judicial stamp paper at the time
of their joining for serving the University for at least three years.

12. Higher starting pay may be considered for exceptionally brilliant or highly experienced
candidate on the recommendation of the selection committee and approval by the competent
authority in special case.

13. Persons appointed may be transferred to any equivalent post within the jurisdiction of the
University.

14. The service conditions will be governed by the University Acts, Statutes, Rules and
regulations framed and amended by the University from time to time.

15. The University reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw the posts, change the
designation and cancelled the post even after selection. No claim or correspondence will be
entertained in this regard.

16. No. TA and DA will be paid for appearing in the interview even if any interview is not held
on scheduled date due to one or the other reasons.
