The Miraculous Prophet

Many miracles have been attributed to the Prophet, peace be upon him, from his birth to the
present day, by both Muslims and non-Muslims, even nature has humble itself before him.

Georges the Christian Monk
When the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, was twelve years old, he went with his uncle
Abu Talib on a business journey to Syria. When they reached Busra [which was a part of Syria, in
the vicinity of Howran under the Roman domain] they met a monk called Bahira [his real name
was Georges], who showed great kindness, and entertained them lavishly. He had never been in
the habit of receiving or entertaining them before. He readily enough recognized the Prophet,
peace be upon him, and said while taking his hand: "This is the master of all humans. God will
send him with a Message which will be a mercy to all beings." Abu Talib asked: "How do you
know that?" He replied: "When you appeared from the direction of Aqabah, all stones and trees
prostrated themselves, which they never do except for a Prophet. I can recognize him also by the
seal of Prophethood which is below his shoulder, like an apple. We have got to learn this from
our books." (Ibn Hisham)

The Blind Man
A blind man came to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and said, "I've been afflicted in my eye-
sight, so please pray to God for me." The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Go make ablution
(wudu), perform two cycles (Rakaats) of prayer, and then say: "Oh God, I ask You and turn to
You through my Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy; O Muhammad (Ya Muhammad), I
seek your intercession with my Lord for the return of my eyesight [and in another version: "for
my need, that it may be fulfilled. O God, grant him intercession for me"]. "The Prophet, peace be
upon him, added, "And if there is some need, do the same." The blind man regained his eyesight.
(Tirmidhi)

In recent times a blind Hindu by the name of Takardas wrote a poem for the Prophet, peace be
upon him, and told his Muslim friend, who was on his way to Hajj from India, to read it at the
grave of the Prophet, peace be upon him, in Medina, which he did. Upon the friends return
from Hajj, he found Takardas was completely cured from his blindness.

The Crying Date-Palm
The Prophet used to stand by a tree or a date-palm on Friday. Then the Ansari woman or man
said, "O God's Apostle! Shall we make a pulpit for you?" He replied, "If you wish." So they made
a pulpit for him and when it was Friday, he proceeded towards the pulpit (for delivering the
sermon). The date-palm cried like a child! The Prophet, peace be upon him, descended (the pul-
pit) and embraced it while it continued moaning like a child being quietened. The Prophet, peace
be upon him, said, "It was crying for (missing) what it used to hear of religious knowledge given
near to it." (Sahih Bukhari)

Camels Salvation
The Prophet, peace be upon him, once entered the garden of man from the Muslims of Medina
(Ansar) in which there was a camel. When the Prophet, peace be upon him, looked at the camel
and the camel stood still and its eyes started watering (crying). Then the Prophet, peace be upon
him, came to the camel and rubbed its ears so it calmed down. Then the Prophet, peace be upon
him, said, Who is the owner of this camel? Whose camel is this? A young man from the Ansar
said, O Messenger of God, it belongs to me. Then Prophet, peace be upon him, told him, Do
you not fear God with regard to this beast which God has let you own? It complained to me that
you starve it and tire it by overworking it and using it beyond its capacity." (Abu Dawud)

A Deers Plea
"The Prophet, peace be upon him, passed by a tribe who had captured a deer and tied it to a
granite column. The deer spoke, O Prophet! I have been captured and I have a young buck.
Allow me to go feed it and I shall return. So the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, To whom
does this deer belong? The tribe replied, To us, O Prophet. The Prophet, peace be upon him,
responded, Release her so that she may go feed her young buck and she will return to you. The
tribesmen asked, And who will guarantee us this? The Prophet, peace be upon him, replied, I
will. So they released the deer, which went and fed its buck and then returned and was tied
again. Later on the Prophet, peace be upon him, passed by and saw the deer, he asked, To
whom does this deer belong? The tribesmen said, To us, O Prophet. The Prophet, peace be
upon him, said, sell her to me, they replied, She is yours, so the Prophet, peace be upon him,
said to them, Then release her. Thus they released her and she left them." (The proofs of Prophethood)

A Birds Relief
We were on a journey and during the Prophets absence, we saw a bird with its two chicks; we
took them. The mother bird was circling above us in the air, beating its wings in grief. When
Prophet, peace be upon him, returned he said, Who has hurt the feelings of this bird by taking
its chicks? Return themto her. (Sahih Muslim)

Hilya Shareef
"For him who sees my Hilya after
my death it is as if he had seen
me in person, and he who sees it,
longing for me, for him God will
make Hellfire prohibited, and he
will not be resurrected naked on
the Day of Judgement." (Tirmidhi)
The Hilya means "ornament", it
consists of short descriptions of
the Prophet's external and inter-
nal qualities, drawn from early
Arabic sources.
It is said that the Abbasid caliph
Harun ar-Rashid bought such a
description from a wandering der-
vish, rewarding him lavishly; the
following night he was honoured
by a vision of the Prophet, who
promised him eternal blessings.

According to other popular traditions, the Prophet himself advised his
"four friends," the first four Caliphs, before his death to remember his
shama'il-nama, that is, the description of his looks and qualities. It is
said that the one who stitches the Hilya in his shroud will be accompa-
nied on his funeral by a thousand angels who will recite the funeral
prayer for him and ask forgiveness on his behalf until Judgement Day.

Nalain Shareef
The sandals of the Prophet of God
hold a unique place of honour and
reverence for Muslims. Known as
Nalain Shareef, the originals, to-
gether with other Prophetic relics
are in the Topkapi Palace in Turkey.
Of the proven blessing of the like-
ness (image) of the Prophet's sandal
is that, whoever has it in his posses-
sion for tabarruk (blessings) will be
safeguarded by it from the sedition
of rebels and the mastery of ene-
mies, and it will be a barrier against
every devil and the evil eye of the
envious. If a pregnant woman holds
it in her right hand during labour,
her delivery will be easier by God's
Power. (Imam Qastalani)

BISMILLAH-IR-RAHMAN-IR-RAHIM
The reality (Haqeeqat-Muhammadi) of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, is some-
thing different to his outward form and the general message of tolerance, peace and jus-
tice among mankind throughout the world. Those that were close to Prophet, peace be
upon him, knew and hinted at the Universal Reality of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

The Holy Quran
The ultimate Word of God and guidance for Mankind, the Holy Quran has infinite levels
of knowledge and understanding for those that reflect upon the inner meanings rather
than just the obvious outer meanings. It is in the inner meanings of the Holy Quran that
God informs the believers of the unimaginable status of the Prophet, peace be upon him,
in His Divine Presence.

The most Honoured in Creation
God and His Angels shower blessings on the Prophet
O you who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute
him with a worthy salutation
(Holy Quran, 33:56)

Never has God honoured any of His Prophets as He has done in this Holy verse of the
Divine scripture. The verse speaks volumes for those endowed with knowledge and in-
sight, however even the common man cannot miss the simple point that God has taken
upon Himself the act of showering endless honour on the Prophet, peace be upon him,.
Honouring and saluting the Prophet, peace be upon him, has been made the differentiat-
ing factor between belief and non-belief, that in itself is a sign of Haqeeqat-Muhammadi.

Mercy and Blessing for the entire Creation
We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creation
(Holy Quran, 21:107)

The inner meanings of this verse alludes to the fact that between God and his entire crea-
tion, of which we have no knowledge apart from what we perceive outwardly, lays
Haqeeqat-Muhammadi, God keeps His creation alive through His Mercy via the medium
of the reality of the Prophet, peace be upon him. If it was not for the Prophetic medium
nothing could withstand the Might of God directly, the entire creation would be annihilat-
ed but for Mercy of God in the form of Haqeeqat-Muhammadi .

Condition for attaining Gods love and forgiveness
O mankind! If you love God, follow me - God will love
you and forgive you your sins
(Holy Quran, 3:31)

The very love of God which every true human being yearns for is dependant on following
His most beloved Prophet, peace be upon him, for there is no other approach to God but
through Haqeeqat-Muhammadi, this is a Universal reality for Gods creation, known and
unknown to Mankind.

Intercessor on the Day of Judgement
Soon will your Lord raise you to a Station of Praise.
(Holy Quran, 17:79)

The Station of Praise (Maqaman Mahmoodan) is the most honourable place which only
the Prophet, peace be upon him, will be allowed to occupy on the Day of Judgement, and
it will be from there that the Prophet, peace be upon him, will intercede for humanity. On
that day no Prophet will be able to intercede on behalf of his community until the right of
intercession is first granted to the Prophet, peace be upon him, by God. Seeing the Proph-
et, peace be upon him, that day on Maqam Al-Mahmoud, nobody will be left in doubt
about the reality of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him.

The Hadiths
The close companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, have narrated many sayings (Hadiths) of the
Prophet, peace be upon him, that give further insight into Haqeeqat-Muhammadi. The hadiths show
clearly that there is the Human form that the Prophet, peace be upon him, took to teach and guide
Mankind to salvation, and then there is the reality of the Prophet, peace be upon him, which is dis-
tinctly different to his human form.

The Cause of Creation and First in Creation
God revealed to Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, O Isa! have faith in Muhammad and order your
community to do the same. If Muhammad was not in existence, I would not have created Adam nor
would I have made heaven or hell. (Hakimin Mustadrak)

"O Jabir, the first thing God created was the light of your Prophet from His light, and that light re-
mained in the midst of His Power for as long as He wished, and there was not, at that time, a Tablet or
a Pen or a Paradise or a Fire or an angel or a heaven or an earth. And when God wished to create crea-
tion, he divided that Light into four parts and from the first made the Pen, from the second the Tablet,
from the third the Throne, [and from the fourth everything else]." (Qastallani in al-Mawahib al-laduniyya)

The above two narrations beautifully bring into light that God would not have created anything were it
not for the honour of the Prophet, peace be upon him, furthermore that God created the Light of
Prophet, peace be upon him, before anything else came into existence.

The First and the Last Prophet
"I was a light in front of my Lord for fourteen thousand years before He created Adam. (Immhmad in
his Fad'il al-sahba)

Imam Taj ad-Din Subki, a renowned scholar, said: "It has been said that God created the spirits before
the bodies, and the Prophet's reference to his prophecy in the hadith, "I was a Prophet while Adam was
still between the spirit and the body "may be a reference to his blessed spirit and to the Reality of Reali-
ties (haqiqat al-haqa'iq). Our minds fall short of knowing such a Reality, but its Creator knows it, and
also those to whom He extends an insight of light from Him (man amaddahu bi nurin ilahi). God
brings to existence whichever of these realities that He likes in the time that He pleases. As for the reali-
ty of the Prophet, peace be upon him, it is most likely that it was before the creation of Adam, and God
gave it its Prophetic attribute upon its creation; therefore already at that time, he was the Prophet."
(ImamSuyuti in al-Hawi lil-Fatawi)

The Universal Soul
Shaykh `Abd al-Qadir, the great sage and saint of Islam writes "Know that since God first created the
soul of Muhammad from the light of His beauty, as He said: I created Muhammad from the light of My
Face, and as the Prophet said: The first thing God created is my soul, and the first thing God created is
the Pen, and the first thing God created is the intellect -- what is meant by all this is one and the same
thing, and that is the Haqiqa Muhammadiyya. However, it was named a light because it is completely
purified from darkness, as God said: There has come to you from God a Light and a manifest Book. It
was also named an intellect because it is the cause for the transmission of knowledge, and the pen is its
medium in the world of letters. The Muhammadan soul (al-Ruh al-Muhammadiyya) is therefore the
quintessence of all created things and the first of them and their origin, as the Prophet said: I am from
God and the believers are from me, and God created all souls from me in the spiritual world and He
did so in the best form. It is the name of the totality of mankind in that primordial world, and after its
creation by four thousand years, God created the Throne from the light of Muhammad himself , and
from it the rest of creation." The Secret of Secrets (Cambridge: Islamic Texts Society, 1994).

The Leader of all Prophets
It is narrated in a long Hadith that on the Day of Judgement when people will be in extreme distress
they will approach Prophets Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, peace be upon them, pleading
for them to plead with God to relieve them of their distress but none of these Prophets will come for-
ward to plead with God that day. Finally people will go to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon
him, who will come forward and prostrate to God to start the process of Judgement and relieve the
people of the burden of their fate.

It will be said, O, Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to, and ask, for you
will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted. I will say, O
Lord, my followers! Then He will say, Go and take out (all those) in whose hearts there is faith even to
the lightest, lightest mustard seed. (Take them) out of the Fire. (Sahih Bukhari)

Reality of the Prophet, peace be upon him, is known by heavenly beings and Prophets of Mankind
alike, what great fortune for those among Mankind that are among his community.

World Scriptures
Many of the scripture before the Holy Quran mention the Prophet, peace be upon him,
and furthermore the reality of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him,. Mankind from East
to West need to wake-up to the truth that is clear for them to see.

Buddhist Scriptures
The Buddha said 'I am not the first Buddha who came upon the earth, nor shall I be the
last. In due time another Buddha will arise in the world, a Holy one, a supremely enlight-
ened one, endowed with wisdom in conduct, auspicious, knowing the universe, an in-
comparable leader of men, a master of angels and mortals. He will reveal to you the same
eternal truths which I have taught you. He will preach his religion, glorious in its origin,
glorious at the climax, and, glorious at the goal. He will proclaim a religious life, wholly
perfect and pure, such as I now proclaim. His disciples will number many thousand,
while mine number many hundred.' 'He will be known as Maitreya'. (The Gospel of Buddha by
Carus.)

Maitreya means Mercy but in this context it means great Mercy and as mentioned in the
Holy Quran the Prophet, peace be upon him, is Mercy to all Gods Creation..

Farsi Scripture
"Whose name will be, the Victorious, 'Soeshyant' and whose name will be 'Astvat-ereta.'
He will be Soeshyant (the beneficent one) because he will benefit the whole bodily world.
He will be Astvat-ereta (he who makes the people rise up) because as a bodily creature
and as a living being he will stand against the destruction of the bodily being to with-
stand the idolaters and the like and the errors of the Mazdaynians" (IFarvardin Yasht, XXVIII)

The word 'Astvat-ereta' from its root Astu means 'the praised one' or 'Muhammad' in
Arabic. 'Soeshyant' which means 'Mercy for the Worlds'.

Hindu Scripture

A malechha (belonging to a foreign country and speaking foreign language) spiritual
teacher will appear with his companions. His name will be Mahamad. Raja (Bhoj) after
giving this Mahadev Arab (of angelic disposition) a bath in the 'Panchgavya' and the
Ganges water, (i.e. purging him of all sins) offered him the presents of his sincere devo-
tion and showing him all reverence said, 'I make obeisance to thee.' 'O Ye! the pride of
mankind, the dweller in Arabia, Ye have collected a great force to kill the Devil and you
yourself have been protected fromthe malechha opponents (idol worshipers, pagans).' O
Ye! the image of the Most Pious God the biggest Lord, I am a slave to thee, take me as one
lying on thy feet.'

Gospel of Barnabas
One of the closest disciples of Jesus, peace be upon him, known as Saint Barnabas moved
to Cyprus after Jesus, peace be upon him, ascended to Heaven, Barnabas never believed
in the Trinity that was being propagated after Jesus, peace be upon him, ascended to
Heaven. Therefore Barnabas wrote the Gospel and the true teaching of Jesus, peace be
upon him, as he was taught by Jesus, peace be upon him, himself.

Questioning Jesus, peace be upon him, after a sermon a priest asks, "How shall the Messi-
ah be called, and what sign shall reveal his coming?" Jesus answered: "The name of the
Messiah is admirable, for God himself gave him the name when he had created his soul,
and placed it in celestial splendour. God said: "Wait Muhammad; for your sake I will
create paradise, the world, and a great multitude of creatures, whereof I make you a pre-
sent, insomuch that whoever shall bless you shall be blessed, and whoever shall curse
you shall be accursed. When I shall send you into the world I shall send you as my Mes-
senger of salvation, and your word shall be true, insomuch that heaven and earth shall
fail, but your faith shall never fail." Muhammad is his blessed name." Then the crowd
lifted up their voices, saying: "O God send us your Messenger, O Muhammad, come
quickly for the salvation of the world!"" (Gospel of Barnabas)
