that the real meaning of Christmas is put across .

OBERAMMERGAU 20TH - 26TH SEPTEMBER 2010
There will be a meeting, for those who have booked this holiday, on
Friday, 11th December at 7.00 pm at Alan and Jean Peats' house at
13, Picketts Rd. It will be a Christmas get-together with wine and mince
pies, a DVD and more information. Kath Waring
2010 CALENDARS are being sold in aid of Battambang Diocese,
Cambodia, with which our diocese is twinned. They cost £5 each and your
support will, as always, be most welcome! They are in the porches.
THE KSC are holding their Christmas Dinner at the Marlborough on Dec 15th,
7 for 7.30pm. Cost is £20 .Contact Tom Brazier 671499 .
There will be a retiring collection for the SICK & RETIRED
CLERGY FUND on Dec 12/13th. This will remain open for a
further week; cheques to St. Felix Parish in envelope marked
S & R C Fund.
CWL will be collecting tins for the homeless during Advent. Why not buy
an extra tin with your shopping as a way of preparing for Christmas.

CHILDREN WANTED FOR THE CAROL SERVICE.
A number of children are needed to take part in the Nativity scenes in this year’s
Carol Service on Sunday December 20th at 3.00pm. If there are any children who
would like to take part, please contact Teresa Whitley (tel: 672513), Pauline
Mayes or Monica Macdonald (tel: 278258), as soon as possible. There will be a
short rehearsal at 10am on December 20th, after the 9 o’clock mass at St Felix.
