Students are expected to gain knowledge, acquire and apply skills, develop good attitudes and pass the following subjects: a) ENG 100 English Plus b) ENG 101 Advanced Grammar & Composition c) ENG 201 Interactive English d) EDUC 310 Developmental Reading e) LIT 201 Philippine Literature f) LIT 102 Literatures of the World
Encourage participation among students during class discussions and presentations Empower students abilities through prepared interactive activities Make the students realize the relevance and importance of studying language and literature to their lives Revise and update course specifications to keep abreast with the current trends and issues in language and literature instruction 95% of the students should have fulfilled the requirements and have passed the subject.
100% of the revised and updated course specifications in the respective courses should have been submitted.

2. Develop students achievement and competencies.
Construct tests and other evaluative instruments to assess the results of instruction.
Administer examinations and disseminate results. At the end of the semester, at least 95% of the class should have passed ENG 101, EDUC 310, ENG 100, ENG 201, LIT 201, and LIT 101.

3. Provide students with enrichment activities or exercises for comprehension, learning and appreciation
Conducting recitation, assigning role plays and presentations that are relevant to the topic

1. Conduct research in line with ones specialization Conduct an action research related to the area of specialization and write reports about it. 100% of the action research should have been conducted. Instructor
2. Involve oneself in any community service program Give maximum cooperation with any non-government organizations and officials for the implementation of extension activities.
