THE PRESENT HANDOUT:
Solutions to the problems from the March 2014 issue are expected by the editors until
July 31, 2014 (post oce date), at the following mailing address:
Editorial Oce GAZETA MATEMATICA,
Academiei Street, No. 14, Bucharest, zip code 010014, ROMANIA.
We will be glad to send your solutions by email to the Editorial Oce. However, if you
prefer to mail them directly, feel free to do so. If you complete a solution BEFORE July 31,
2014, please email it to bsuceava@fullerton.edu The students who are excelling in problem
solving will be recognized in a future ceremony in our Math Circle.
Write each solution on a dierent page. Write your name on every page of your submitted
work.
You can submit to the editor solutions for problems proposed to your grade or one grade
younger. You are welcome to try any problems assigned to more advanced grades. As you
look over these problems, remember there are many dierences between the European and
the North American middle- and high-school content covered in their respective standard
curriculum.
