conditionsusedandensuringthiswithamaintenanceschedule.

emissions.Italsoensuresa
highleveloflightingcomfortovertheentireservicelife.

Whatpossibilitiesdoconsultantsandusershavetopositivelyinfluencethemaintenancefactor:

RMFRoommaintenancefactorbrightroomscleanedatregularintervals,orpaintedinsuchawaythat
theyhaveahighreflectioncoefficientoveralongperiodarethebasisforahighroomsurface
maintenancefactor.
LSFLampdurabilityfactorwhendefiningtheimmediatereplacementofdefectivelamps,themaximum
valueof1canbeusedforthisfactor.

LLMFLamplumenmaintenancefactortakesintoaccountthedeclineofthebrightnessbecauseofthe
agingofthelamporoftheLEDmodule.

Throughtheoptimalchoiceofthelightswiththeappropriatelamps,theconsultantcandecisively
influencethisvalue.Theselectionofilluminantswithalongservicelifeandalowdeclineinbrightness
reducesthecostsfortheprocurementofreplacementsandtheeffortinvolvedinchangingthelamps.

LMFLampmaintenancefactordependinguponthedesignofalightandtheenvironmentalinfluencesin
theproperty,contaminationcanoccurinthecourseofuse,whichresultsinreductionofthebrightness.

Theuserisresponsibleforimplementation:

CleaningofthelightsinadeenergisedandcoolstatewithasoftclothandpHneutralcleaningagents.
Especiallythecleaningofcoveringsfortheradiationoftheindirectlightproportion,cleaningofall
reflectors,wheretheyareaccessible,inthesamewayandcleaningofpanesandcoveringsforthe
radiationofthedirectlightproportion.
Byselectinglightsthatcanbecleanedwithloweffortandashortercleaningintervalthantheusual3
years,ahigherluminairemaintenancefactorcanbeachieved,whichhasapositiveinfluenceon
investmentandenergycosts,andwhichresultsinahigherdegreeofenvironmentalcompatibilityofthe
lightingsystem.

Thefollowingreferencevaluesapplyforlightingsystemsforwhichtheconsultantcannotadequately
determinethepotentialinfluencefactorsconcerningareductionoftheilluminance:

Amaintenancefactorof0.5meansthatanilluminationtwicethatofEN124641mustbeestablishedasa

WhencreatinglightingsystemswithLEDlamps,theplannershoulddeterminethemostpreciseruntime
ofthelampspossibleandtaketheplannedusefullifeofthesystemintoaccount;inthiswayarealvalue
forthelamplumenfactorcanbedefined,whichcanbesignificantlyhigherthanthevalueof0.7,which,
withreferencetotheusefullifeof50,000h,wouldotherwisebeused.
