RESULT OF THE WRITTEN PART OF

SECTION OFFICER (COMMERCIAL AUDIT) EXAMINATION, 2009

The Staff Selection Commission conducted an all India Competitive examination

on 14.06.2009, for recruitment of candidates to the posts of Section Officer (Commercial
Audit). Following is the List of 1057 candidates who have qualified in the written
examination for being called for Interview.

2. Details of the cut-off marks fixed by Commission for calling the candidates for
interview are as under :-

3. The List is provisional and subject to thorough scrutiny and verification of

eligibility of candidates in all respects with reference to the Notice of the
examination. The particulars of the candidates included in the List will be verified with
reference to the entries made by them in support of their claims/statements, particularly
with regard to their category status. If, on verification from the application form, it is
found that any candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, he/she
will not be called for the Interview.

4. Particulars of the candidates including their category status as indicated in the

result have been taken as indicated by the candidates in their OMR answer scripts of
Paper-I. It is important for candidates belonging to the reserved category for whom
certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per Government policy, to note that if
any of them does not actually belong to the category shown against his roll number, he
may not be eligible for appearing in the Interview. It is, therefore, in the interest of such
candidates to contact immediately the respective Regional Offices of the Commission in
all such cases where they do not belong to the category shown against their roll
numbers in the result.

5. Tentatively, the Interviews are expected to be conducted in January, 2010.

Qualified eligible candidates who do not receive call letters for the Interview by
20.12.2009 should immediately thereafter contact the concerned Regional Office.

7. Marks of the non-qualified candidates would be made available on SSC’s

website shortly. Marks of the qualified candidates would be made available only after
declaration of the final result.
